GDP does make an SOTF Switch specifically for different applications, with a plug instead of having to splice wires.
The firewall dust boot has a spot designed to cut/drill to pass wires through, for your up-fitter switches, etc...

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE yeah, depending on where you get it, the vendor may offer the specific type someone needs, or a generic. BTW, they also make a 6 position switch for x5 SOTF as well as HIGH IDLE option.

Did you see a difference on your gears while driving? Ive installed mine same sotf switch same year truck and noticed gears switching faster did the same sotf tune to it.
