Quick question.... the guy that a deleted my buddies truck “ not mine I swear” advised him not to install a switch on the fly due to the transmission having a computer and it takes around 5-10 minutes of driving for it to adjust. He said that he his more susceptible to blowing the trans with a switch on the fly.
Is there any truth to it?
Paul Reed I would agree to this because torqshift transmission uses adaptive learning to fine tune and adjust shifts. For example in my previous truck when you cleared the memory the trans would some times flare on certain shifts until it relearned optimal timing.
Is it true that it’s a lil harder to tune a king ranch than another regular f250 is that true is all the same?
