Mine make popping sounds, likely due to the housing expanding and contracting as they heat up (from 37°C to 85°C). Is there a way to fix this issue? It's quite annoying, especially when trying to fall asleep.
@@Aqara I even tried to loosen the three screws (so it hangs on them rather than being firmly attached), to leave a room for material expansion, however this doesn't solve the issue. I will contact you. I've both from several sources in different timeframe, and problems are there for two out of three of them, so it must be a design flaw.
my fritzbox 5690 pro has built in zigbee. this light supports zigbee aswell. do i need an aqara hub for sure? i tought i could connect it via zigbee to my router and it works smart
I bought this lamp. And when I try to add it in app. It says that my hub is not compatible. I have aqara hub m1s 2gen. What can I do? I want it to work with HomeKit as well, but first I just want it to work.
After switching to the new M3 hub, I couldn't re-bind the T1M. The T1M Light says turn the light on/off 5 times. I wasn't thinking to do it RAPIDLY. That was my issue. This might help someone else.
the wiring is completely different on the u.s version i wish that was explained better before i bought this. makes the installation a bit more complicated and you need connect the wires before installing the lamp vs the version showed in this video
Aqara isnt very bright, they should include an installation manual for those who dont know. I purchased several and i am sadly disappointed with them. The ring led colors are not bright nor deep in color. They are dull and barely goves enough light when just using the ring light. The main light is good. Only reason i purchased these were solely because they were bigger than the govee ceiling rgb lights, which i also have and prefer.
these installation instructions are bloody dangerous, there is an earth connection on the fitting which I assume is metal & then the lead is installed with pretty crappy conductor condition & they don’t even connect the earth cable???
Zero functionality without a hub is a joke. Neither you (in the manual) or the retailer in my country made that clear prior to purchase, if I knew that I would never buy this overpriced 40W, 150€ lightbulb. I will never ever buy an Aqara product. Scam on customer, nothing more.
Is it mandatory to have the M3 hub to pair this to the Home Assistant Yellow?

Yes, you would need an Aqara hub! Or a Matter compatible hub
@@Aqara so for example amazon echo 4th gen would also work?
