As a glock fanboy and occasional sig hater, sig absolutely knocked it out of the park with this. I like my 44 as a Glock training tool to save some money but for anything else the Sig is better in every way.
Sig no question. My 322 had a couple hiccups right out of the box, but has been a dream since. Idk if it just took about 200 to break it in or what, but it runs flawless now. And I didn't find it hard to load when close to capacity. Idk why folks are having such a hard time with it.
A trick in loading the mags is when you are finished loading the mag tap the back of the mag on a hard surface. Any bullet not perfectly in the mag will be snapped into place. Marines are taught to snap the mag on their helmet before inserting it into the gun.
my glock 44 has been great. i ended up getting a nelson precision 44 optic cut aluminum slide and their guide rod and the pistol runs on anything. love both pistols.
Agreed love my little p322, added a Halosun HS507k xs optic and adds so much fun to shooting for my ageing eyes. Also just installed a Amory Craft adjustable flat trigger shoe. Allowing me to set the trigger take up and over travel make for nice trigger control
I almost didn’t buy the P322 because of the safety but I bought it and haven’t touched it since. It’s been “off” the whole time, so much so I almost forgot about it until you mentioned it.
I like the safety for a trainer. TBH I don't know who would CC a 22 anyway. Between light primer strikes and possible failure to feeds from the mags getting rattled around, too unreliable- let alone the low force of the bullet.
Very informative, made my choice to get the Sig….. sold my G44 shortly after getting it. Basically just a training weapon for G19. I am a Glock fanboy but after my first Sig, a 1911 nightmare, I’m a sig fanboy too
Super great review. I had the G44, just got the Sig. Glock fanboy, but everything said here is true. And I like truth!!! Thank you for your terrific comparison. I'm a Glock Guy so I'm keeping the G44, but everything you said about the Sig and where it is better (but for the understandable safety!) is totally correct. Thanks for such a level-headed, legit comparison!!!
The Glock G44 is striker fired and must have a more powerful recoil spring than the SIG which is hammer fired. The Glock will not function reliably with inexpensive bulk ammunition, whereas the SIG will. My Glock G44 will only digest CCI Mini Mags where my SIG will function with every round I have tried so far.. Glock has a 10 round mag where the SIG has 20 rounds. The SIG works great with a red dot and the Glock WILL NOT WORK with a red dot. My SIG P322 has a 3 pound trigger and my Glock measures 5.5 pounds. Did I mention that Glock customer service is SHIT?
I hated Glock for 30 years I bought 4 different P365s and thought I love them but it turns out I was just on the HYPE train I finally shot a Glock 19 2 years ago and OMG I fell in love with it I have since sold all of my Sig's that shoot like crap and handle like crap and now have 10 Glocks (10mm is BOSS) I will never go back to sig (Probably my hand size) Dont like optics (Never have) Iron sights or nothing regards, Pops
Great review - but you need more camera batteries. This past weekend at Sig Freedom Days (AZ) I shot two Sig P322’s. One iron sight and the other with an optic and suppressor. Great shooters!
I got a 44 right out if the gate, it was so ammo finiky I hated it. Sold it got the 322 and haven't looked back. The only thing I don't like and it doesn't bother me is the safety, other than that I love the 322.
i own two sig romeo zero elites and both had to be sent back due to issues. sig replaced both sights. they are now collecting dust due to my love of the holosuns !!!
I know the MAG Capacity is a big deal for some but not to those who live in a State limited to 10 rounds. I have bought pistols and had to pay extra to get 10 round mags which is a PITA....As far as the Sig , I have a Sig , A Legion 226 which is an awesome pistol...
I have been looking for a good high capacity 22 trainer for my girlfriend. Almost bought the Taurus glad I waited and got the Sig P322 thanks for the great review!
thanks for an outstanding side by side 👍 i have the taurus tx22 and love it , tried the glock, liked the tx22 better . i also have the "FN" 502 lots of disappointment there , not as much as the glock but the tx22 beats the "FN" in capacity and accuracy among other things( the plastic optic plate adapters are a freaking joke) . as much as i dont care for the sig USA stuff (LOVE the German stuff) i may ditch the 502 and try the 322 .
@@TiberiousGib honestly it's hot garbage IMO . slide to frame fit is so loose its hard to sight in a red dot . the recoil spring is so weak that with just very little thumb pressure on the slide when you hit the slide release it wont chamber a round and with just a bit more pressure you can completely stop it and if you have a red dot with the battery in the bottom ( sig romeo 0 ) the plastic adapter plates wont keep the battery in good enough to stay lit .
I think the extra capacity is worth it between those two for the price, but not sure if you have a Tx-22 and happy with it, you should get the Sig. Unless of course you have lots of range time. Sometimes the money is the easiest when it comes to guns, its the time for the range. :(
Tiberious i have seen so many reviews on 22lr pistols with safety and like you and most of the people don’t like that but you guys forget that the 22’s are for training and plinking for green horns until you feel comfortable to get self defense gun nice video and Info which holster is better for the sig322?
Hey man, that is an awesome looking gun, I really like the color. However the reason I like Glock over any other hand gun is not because I’m some kind of fan boy, it’s because I’m left handed. It’s the same reason I can’t stand a bolt action rifle, give me the leaver every time. Also I can’t stand cross bolt safety’s on shotguns. Sorry Remington give me the Mossberg tang safety, yes please. I once had a Kimber, extremely nice gun nothing about it worked for me, much like the right handed safety on the Sig. I hear nothing but great things about them, still give me the Glock, because nothing is in the wrong spot for this shooter.
Tib Gib, great video as usual. I got noting else in this case so here goes............. Don't eat yellow snow. Hope that is helpful in the future brother. 👍 Edit: Love the shirt.
@@coolguy3725 - I see now that the comment could be perceived as "out of left field". I'm just not a sig fan. I should have said something that related to the video. My bad
There's a small chance since they made 10rd magazines for it. It will be up to Sig to see if they want to pay for it to be on the DOJ list and perfom the California certification tests with it. Taurus also makes 10rds for the TX22 but it's not on the list.
You make the comment like I can’t see it, how about explaining why I need more training. The comment you left makes you sound like a weak jealous beta male! Don’t TRY to tear people down, be positive, give tips or help people. Serious brother…be better!
Glock the iPhone of the gun world intentionally made it only a 10 round mag so a year later they can release a higher capacity mag so all the Glock suckers will run out a buy one. I really hate that company and thier half of a handgun they sell

👍👍👍
Haven't watched it through yet, but I'm glad I traded my 44 for my 322 last week.
Good choice

Great video Tiberious! Now only if I could find a P322. I've literally been calling every shop in a 100 mile range every weekend. Nadda.

Glock 44 was the first striker-fired 🔫 I ever shot. It jammed on me multiple times. Would love to try that P322, though.

I already sold my Glock 44. I will buy my Sig 322 as soon as my local shop gets one in the $400 range.

P322 manual safety just tells me it's probably not drop safe otherwise.

I might be able to, the Glock 17 is inch bigger / wider

That stinks, I’ve heard nothing but good things
I'd take an H&K over a sig any day! Just my personal preference ☺️
Wish H&K made a 22LR version of the vp9
H&K needs a better competitor for the P365
Confused as to what that has to do with the content of this video. HK doesn’t even make a .22lr handgun, so that makes absolutely no sense.
