  • One from the archive! A throwback to 2004 when we travelled to France for the Boomerang World Championship. Traditionally associated with Australia, Boomerangs are believed to be a modern adaptation of the 'non-returning throw stick', or Kylie, used by Aborigines over 10,000 years ago. Both varieties of stick have even been found in King Tutankhamun's tomb in Egypt.

Very cool. I have a boomerang that was given to me from some folks that went to Australia maybe 40 years ago. On the back it says it was made by Aborigines in some kind of ink of some sort.

Didn't you allow left-handed people in? I didn't see a single left-hander in any of the group shots.

Roger Perry 0:55 is a left handed thrower. For left-handed throwers, their boomerangs are mirrored versions of right-handed boomerangs, and fly clockwise instead of counterclockwise.
