This reminds me of when i was a kid and day dreamed of riding a bike.I was doing ok in school and wanted a BMX bike (yep I'm old school).so i asked my dad aged 7 if he would please buy me one.He said to me if you topped your class in school he would get me one,he even PROMISED. So excited and filled with determination and purpose.That year i worked very hard topped my class came back to my dad and showed him my report sheet and asked when will i get my bike, He said go do it again and i asked will i get it then he said no,i said but you promised? Water off a ducks back ,the word clearly meant nothing to him.My whole fell out of my chest.From that day on i lost respect for my dad.I what's worse i lost the desire to try to achieve anything in life...even into.my adulthood. Parents be careful what you promise your kids they're not all stupid.

Trying my hardest to be a man of integrity. My wife cheated on me so many times about 4 years ago and it still tears me apart every day of my life. This reminds me of when i was a kid and day dreamed of riding a bike.I was doing ok in school and wanted a BMX bike (yep I'm old school).so i asked my dad aged 7 if he would please buy me one.He said to me if you topped your class in school he would get me one,he even PROMISED. So excited and filled with determination and purpose.That year i worked very hard topped my class came back to my dad and showed him my report sheet and asked when will i get my bike, He said go do it again and i asked will i get it then he said no,i said but you promised?
Water off a ducks back ,the word clearly meant nothing to him.My whole fell out of my chest.From that day on i lost respect for my dad.I what's worse i lost the desire to try to achieve anything in life...even into.my adulthood.
Parents be careful what you promise your kids they're not all stupid.

Trying my hardest to be a man of integrity. My wife cheated on me so many times about 4 years ago and it still tears me apart every day of my life. I want to forgive her but the hurt I feel is killing me. I don't want to feel this anymore. I know I am supposed to forgive but I can't get over this. I thought time would help. Please pray for me.
