I really love your paints & have done some faux finishes professionally. Then I had to stop working due to a spinal cord injury.
However my own taste runs more toward the old world style of finishes, instead of Americana (Farmhouse style)so I am really more interested in learning your methods rather than in the wording itself.
Otherwise, I certainly would be interested in joining your membership.
I have heard you talking about your recipe for chalk paint as well as crackle & other distressed finishes, being part of other video’s you have made
containing these. Would you mind pointing me in that direction please.
Also it seems that nearly every-one in America is interested in n “farmhouse style” and I would be most happy to refer those I know to your TV Program. I am certain they will be more suited for your farmhouse style than myself.

I’m right with you. I stopped right in the middle of projects because of construction disaster going on. I have two big pieces and signs all half done from about a year ago waiting for me to work on them. I have cleared off my work station while watching and going to try to start up again. I bet all my paint is probably dried up. The problem is you have so many projects that are gorgeous and techniques I want to try. I sure wish the dump would let us grab a few things. No foraging. I did grab an antique high chair in perfect condition someone set aside hoping someone would grab it. So I thank you so much for sharing your talent!

I live on an old dairy farm that was built in 1908. You've made my head explode with all the possibilities for crafting. Every outbuilding and the barn are full of items described in this video. I am going to be very busy from now on creating. Thank you!!!

@@OurUpcycledLife We discovered what was a ranch hand appartment after climbing in the rafters of the barn. The original stairs long gone. The things we found from 1908+ was incredible. I found some glass window panes still in the wooden box they were shipped in that were 1/4 inch thick and had bubbles. Old life magazines, cooking stove, sink, the frame of a bed. So much stuff frozen in time. 🤗

Personally I have started a volunteer project down at the homeless shelters and treatment centers for the homeless and anyone else who wants to join a free classes demonstrating what I've learned from you so that people can create and sell objects that they can make from other people's trash! It has allowed so many people to feel so much better about themselves and make a little money on the side when they would not have been able to before. Some people have even gotten off the streets and into homes because of this project. Again, I thank you so much.
(I wish I could be a member, but money's tight when you run a volunteer program.)

My favorite projects were the hanging planter made from an antique lamp part and the sign made from the back of an ola chair! I would keep the planter indoors, though, so it doesn't corrode. Someone may want it for a lamp again.

Enjoyed your cabinet redo! I can't rip napkins where I want them to rip. I have a pair of scrapbooking scissors with a VERY irregular deckle edge; I love how I can control when I want it to "rip" but still have an irregular edge. That cherry red on the last table is a gorgeous color!

Agree about painting the back of projects! It definitely gives them a professional look. I feel the same way about painting over hinges. I think it looks horrible on many items.
Yes I agree. I think it just makes it look finished and professional sometime so I am a culprit of painting hinges because depending on the project I do find that it gives it a nice rustic, primitive old look, but I know a lot of people cringe over that.

You are so talented in taking and creating wonderful pieces!!! I still am struggling with the chippy part, but Im determined not to give up. I do have a question for you though. I really dont prefer the vintage black and white look. I need and want color. I just love you using the teal and yellow... but then you cover it up with white. Have you ever done a white and teal and covered it with yellow????

I have not seen a replacement unfortunately
I prefer little to no color except neutrals, except for maybe Christmas decor, Fall decor etc.
