Oh you, beloved Pianists, your audience does not have your talent and often knows very little about the real emotions of the composers per composition, but you do know and let your version of it be heard. Thank you all, I admire you , your supple hands and souls full of music.🌷🌷🌷 You all deserve to be happy. (Netherlands, Jan. 2025 ) Thank you Zsolt. 🌷
Hello Emily--what a delightful and moving message of hope and empowerment you give here with your encouragement and well wishes! We will pin this to the top for all to see.
This is the most inspirational conversation I have heard this year. Many, many thanks.....God bless and peace.
Truly grateful for your feedback-Gabriela Montero moved us on every level and we’re honored to have featured her to bring her story to you!
Soooooo wonderful. What a great artist. And such a great interview. And the excitement of someone brings classical music back to its roots in improvisation. Thankyou Zsolt and Gabriela!!!!!
Oh there we have it--your feedback on this one as well! Somehow we don't feel complete until we hear from you--thank you so much!
An artist who truly speaks the language of piano. She is unbelievable in the depth and nuance of what she's able to communicate.
We thank you so much for watching and resonating so beautifully with the message of hope and light!
A legend. So proud of her and her talent. Being Venezuelan has always been unique, more so these days. Thank you for this interview.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and for sharing your feedback! We are truly grateful.
I have never teared up so much in an interview. So much humanity, so much tragedy, so much love, so much compassion, oh yeah and the astounding artistry, improvisation, and pianism. The world would be a better place if everyone watched this and heard Gabriela’s story. Thank you for bringing this to us!
Such incredible feedback from you, Marcy! We are moved that it resonates with you this much. The world would also be a better place with more of you in it ✨
How wonderful to behold such a sensitive artist who is also a wise human being. Towards the ending of her improvisation about her father, I imagined, through the chord changes that she chose, that she was expressing meeting him again in another realm.
Wow, yes, that's a perceptive observation that we hadn't caught--thanks for pointing this out! Having feedback from highly intelligent, sensitive human beings makes all this work worth it for us--thank you so much for watching and for being in touch! Warmest wishes from our team~
Absolutely a wonderful and poignant interview.! Full of emotional passages and clear messages of hope, through music and kindness❤
We are so touched by your response to this conversation, and for taking the time to let us know! We are truly grateful to you ✨
Gracias Bella Gabriela, Espero pronto Venezuela te oiga y vea tocar en su tierra ,de un Venezolano viviendo exilado en Hong Kong
It’s true. I learned and memorized most of standard piano repertoire before graduating from high school. Those pieces, even without practicing, I can play in my sleep. Now at much older age, I have been playing living composers and find myself thinking, are these just harder to memorize?🤔
It is like the automatic writing (the act of writing without conscious awareness) to playing music.
That’s a great comparison!
Here are some lessons to learn. I wonder how she memorize, unconscious?, works from composers. And how is it when she plays a pianoconcerto? I'm stunned.
It’s a wonder indeed, and incredible to witness with her improvisations as well, a musical syntax which seems to arise from elsewhere ✨
What happend to Venezuela?
We were thinking how best and most helpfully to succinctly explain the situation but are likely not qualified to give a full and accurate answer-however, we did a RUclips search for “what is the crisis in Venezuela” and we found some good ones. However keep in mind there were many new developments with in the past months, so be sure to check out some with updated info as well ✨ Sorry we weren’t more helpful. Perhaps others can explain the tragic situation better.
