Making tiny spider ART with SCRAP METAL!

I had this tiny antique lightbulb and thought it would be really cool to turn it into a spider using some nails and other scraps! I love making cool art projects out of scrap metal! If you've got any questions about the process or anything art related I'll do my best to answer any comments! I have a bit scrap at garage but I use just grinder and arc welder) i tried to make some sculptures... not easy

Thank you! Setting up the welder mainly involves calibrating the argon gas, and choosing how high I set the energy output of the welds to be!

Its micro pulse arc welding! I haven't used it before but I bet solder would work, before I was welding I used superglue!

Ive saved up similar light bulb it was a first light bulb I changed on my first car this seem like a perfect way of making it into something more interesting instead of just resting in my ash tray in my car

You should definitely give it a go! If you don’t have a welder you can use superglue instead 😊

If I were to try making little scrap metal sculptures like this at home with my son...
Do you have any suggestions on what welding tool to purchase?
Seems like a fun little hobby project to do with him but i wouldnt know where to start with tools!

Honest with welding its really difficult to get in at a cheap price point - if it helps before I had a welder I just used superglue! You have to be more careful with them but its still really strong if done right and will save you thousands! I only got my welder about 2 years ago - so most of my art is made with superglue 😊
