About the slimes, those are spawning in certain chunks - Slime Chunks, just use path blocks to stop their spawning. Or some other spawn-proofing method. Enjoyed the video.
hey!! so quick tip; on day 89 when you were making the farm, you can take a block of water from their farm, but do it from the middle. its also like an infinite water source! great video btw!

To help with lag, they made some mobs spawn only in specific biomes. Namely due to the high spawn rates and the little buggers cause issues with lag on flat worlds. That is at least my understanding of why they were changed to specific biomes spawning.

The horse taming mechanic is based on the real thing. It's called breaking. You literally ride the wild, bucking horse until it calms down. A little more exciting (dangerous) than the Minecraft version lol.

Just so your aware the reason your mob spawner may have been broken it was one block too wide its suppost to be seven blocks from the hight of 21 not 8 but its 8 blocks total if that makes sense you did nine
A cleric village you traid emeralds for it you can get them from traiding wood to sticks or any of the farming ones or the um pumkins and melons if you can find them in mindshafs

Superflat is all plains, rabbits dont spawn in plains anymore - not since 1.8

For everyone; lightlevel does not matter for Slimes. In superflats you need to make everything into pathblocks to prevent spawning

You should be able to bonemeal the blocks under the water in the axolotyl pond to get seagrass as a little bit of decoration.

How did you get deepslate and redstone? I thought you couldn’t get deepslate in super flat. Unless there’s a snapshot or something where you can.
You can get redstone from traiding with cleric villagers as well as glow stone and lapiz im not sure on the deepslate might be a texture pack thing

She got a spruce sapling and she grew it and just kept growing it till she had enough to make a nicer tree farm. Did you not see that part??
She got them from a wondering traider and just kept collecting the wood they produce a lot of saplings if that makes a difference
