Yes, once you are filled with the Holy Spirit you will sleep like a baby and HE will keep leading you to find the answer you need. Though I don't pray in tongues, i know i have HIM because now i don't want to sin anymore and i feel guilty whenever i do something wrong.
Marion read the Bible it says you must be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking tongues, if you are born again you can have the Holy Spirit in you but it hasn’t come upon you yet ! Pray and fast on this
@@mg.323 Three times in the book of Acts it says that believers recieved the Holy Spirit, Acts ch 2, 10, and 19. In all three instances the first thing that happened was that they spoke in "tongues." Speaking in " tongues" isn't speaking in unlearned earthly languages, is speaking in one spiritual language. What you still need is to be baptized in the Holy Spirit that's to be filled to overflowing.

@@katbornagain You need to ask Jesus for the Holy Spirit. It's a gift, but you need to ask. I received it when I was baptized in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. By getting baptized that way, I received it. But, I didn't know I had it because I was just ten, and nobody explained to me that I had it. I guess they didn't know or didn't recognize it. I backslid away from Christianity and didn't really come back until I was 65 years old. Then, Jesus came to me in my home, and the Holy Spirit took hold of me and started making my body and parts of me (my arm) move when I wasn't in control of it. Jesus made me drink three glasses of water and then insisted that I drink water a lot. I have to drink seven glasses of water a day. Room temperature is best. This was to save my life because I was not in good health. I lost a bunch of weight and improved my health. I had to learn to trust Jesus and obey His every word, which I discovered through prayer. I have to pray about everything so that I know what Jesus (God) wants me to do at each moment. It's very difficult but worthwhile as I know now I am a chosen person and a servant of Almighty God. Nothing could be more important. I have heard God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit speak. They speak to me all the time now...every day and at night several times a day. People don't believe me, but Jesus says not to worry about that. He says, "Don't worry what sinful man and sinful woman think of you." Just be concerned if you are doing the will of God. If you are, then you don't need to worry about what anyone thinks. Something that happened as a result of this is that my husband didn't believe me, and he couldn't live with me anymore. So, I moved out, and we are living separately now. That is hard. I don't know what the future will bring. I am just following the footsteps of Jesus and trusting and obeying Him.
It's crazy how he said at 02:55 that he felt so energetic. I actually felt that today. I started reading the Bible and was feeling tired and yawning. After reading a few verses to my mother, I said, let's pray. Now before we prayed together, I prayed (within myself) asking God to fill me with Holy Spirit and I want to be lead by the Spirit in prayer. Still feeling sleepy, I began to pray with my mother and I began to feel, almost an immediate adrenalin rush. Like I suddenly WOKE UP! I was trembling a little bit and even my voice trembled. But it literally felt like a sudden adrenalin rush and I suddenly knew exactly what to pray... that was definitely the Holy Spirit. 🙏 Also...at 11:15 the lady talks about a flood of thoughts in the morning, I have also found that God speaks to me right when I wake up (sometimes HE wakes me up) and my mind is full of thoughts of... you need to pray about this, about that. You need to do this, do that. Speak to this person and that person and tell them this... it's crazy. God knows that right as you wake up is the ONLY time of the day we're not distracted and can hear Him clearly. It's just amazing to me. I think I'm going to start sleeping with a notebook and pen next to me, from now on.

Okechukwu Otisi Cesar Mendez I waited a long time seeking for the Spirit baptism.I then prayed & went ahead & began to speak some syllables.I thought it was just what I made up but that night I felt God’s presence so strongly that made It evident enough that I received the anointing.Ever since I’ve been speaking in tongues & the vocabulary has developed.I also see other evidences such as dreams & visions & deeper revelation of His Word.In essence I am trying to say that sometimes we wait for the time we would loose total control & get a super ecstasy feeling & God takes over.There are times that happens but God also wants us to move forward in faith & just start exercising it.After everything in Christianity,including Salvation is birthed out of faith.So don’t wait for a rushing mighty wind but move forward in faith in total sincerity.God moves in different ways & not always as expected.

I don't know about you folks...but the Holy Spirit is incredible, I felt it happen to me like the greatest feeling to ever hit me at once!!! And you do cry! You want to jump up and down and thank the Lord for the gift!
I experienced to be possessed by the Holy Spirit twice, whatever it was I know from my heart it was the Holy Spirit! Because I was praying sincerely and fully dependent on GOD at that time around 4 in the morning. When I was at the verge of my prayer the word/s coming out from my mouth suddenly kept on repeating and it became faster and faster I was aware I was speaking that way but I have no control over my body. And then a sudden flash came in before my eyes and I realized I was not speaking from my mind but from my soul and spirit like I don't have to think a word to say that my mouth kept on speaking and speaking from what my spirit has to say.What amazes me experiencing the Holy Spirit was my physical body being thrown around like I was being swayed by the wind until I completely laid on the floor, I was keeping on praising our GOD, thanking HIM, confessing and admitting my sins to forgive me. I felt my spirit was crying because of so much joy and longingly to be in the presence of GOD like I was ready to get there in heaven.

Well I received the Holy Spirit by asking Jesus and Got it after I gave my life to him, a few weeks ago when I got it I was speaking in some syllables like thy, thou, shall, and more , when I learned from the Bible (kjv) I've gotten use to it, I thought I didn't have the spirit because many said they started to just speak in tongues right away, and when I asked God for his spirit it took a week or 2 to realize he gave me his spirit. I grew up Catholic for 19 years and then in non-denominational churches that talked against the Holy Spirit from 1991-2016. I had a roommate a few years ago that was passionate about the Lord and she had a beautiful prayer language. Last year in a state of desperation I started attending a Pentecostal church about 9 months ago. The pastor always prays over each of us every week for whatever we need spiritually, yet I still have not received the Baptism of Fire. I was able to speak in tongues just ONE time and that was the week I was taken through an intense deliverance. I can't really say I'm consistently on fire for God. I want more, but totally discouraged about the lack of transformation that I see happening in everyone else.
Don't give up! Always remember the lord WANTS to give u his holy spirit so keep trying! Try fasting or telling God to removing anything in u that's keeping u from receiving the holy spirit☺ love u! God bless❤
To me the Holy Spirit came in waves. It didn’t seem instant. I was praying more and more and it felt like demons weren’t letting go at All and I could only slightly feel it. Then one day I felt it fully! I can’t help but weep with joy and happiness and all day I just kept thinking how good God is uncontrollably and couldn’t quit thanking God!! Best most amazing feeling ever! Stronger than any drug could ever be. I’ve been a Christian all my life saved when I was like 7 or at least I thought I was.

Have the desire, hunger and thirst and ask Jesus to fill you. Open yourself up to be filled, don't overthink it. While you are waiting to be filled I encourage you to pray and study about the Holy Spirit. Book of Acts.

That's what I want,I have asked jesus hundreds of not thousands of times to baptize me in the holy spirit and to my knowledge he never has so I always get discouraged and think I don't matter to jesus anymore and go right back into a sinful life. I tell him I need the holy spirit so I can be closer to jesus and know him in a more intimate way and have a true relationship with him because that's what I truly want. Never seems to happen. I want to bring others to christ starting with my drug addicted daughter and my son but I can't do any of that until I find my way first. I'm actually scared that I messed up somewhere along the way that the lord turned his back on me . I know the bible doesn't teach us that he gives up on us but that's what it feels like. What if I denounced the holy spirit in a time of my life and don't remember or just don't know that I did...I just don't know what to do. I want a life with jesus and just can't seem to get that.

For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH, Obedience to God's command. God told Noah to build an ark to be saved. As far as sensing how people feel, I did that most of my life long before my faith, I do think that each persons baptism with the Holy Spirit might be different.
To answer the first comment, there are different beliefs about water baptism. I say, Jesus himself got water baptized, so if you have access to baptism, do it, absolutely, as a sign of obedience. A thief on the cross didnnt have an opportunity, so he is ok, but we do have an opportunity. Just go to church where they baptize with full submersion and ask them to get baptized. You might even deside to attend church occasionally. I felt Holy Spirit entering my body 25 years after water baptism and after falling out of my faith and then returning. I didn't expect it so I couldn't have induced it. Perhaps each persons experience is different. It was an overwulming electric warming sensation in my chest. Moments into this experience, I KNEW what was happening. It was gentle and blissful, not like the woman's experience in the video. It was compatible to people's description of NDEs. I felt the same clarity as the woman in the video. Pray for it but don't expect it all the time. It will happen when you are ready. Good luck!
This is EXACTLY how I felt...I was in Church and standing when my eye sight started getting blurry, I got a warm feeling and started feeling like I was going to pass out, I told my husband that something was happening..I got an overwhelming feeling, like somebody shot a million milligrams of morphine all at once, a sense of peace, a peace so much that I told My husband I was dying...And it spoke to me "Say I am here, Tell them I am Real" and once I stated that loudly for everybody to hear, the heaviness in my chest released, my sins were forgiven and I started to cry...And couldn't stop crying. I haven't been the same since...it was such a beautiful experience and I feel very humble to have received such a gift!! GOD BLESS EVERYBODY!!! GOD IS VERY REAL!!!
hi I'm not sure how to personally message people on RUclips but I am 18 y.o and have been believing in Christ since I can remember but my family and I do not go to church and I am basically self teaching myself for the past couple of weeks and staying up until 5:00am most nights since then. I am eagerly seeking the spirit so that I can be saved and do what God planned for me to do. I have not been baptized in water is that a requirement before hand ?
All you have to do to be saved is first: repent(show/express remorse for past sins) Second:Believe AND confess that Jesus Christ is the son of God; that he died and rose from the dead for the remission of your sins. Then pray and ask God to baptize you with his Holy Spirt with the evidence of speaking in tongues(for initial evidence) and manifestation of the fruits of the spirit. Seek the Holy Spirit for wisdom and council in finding a church near you. Baptism(water immersion) is important and essential, but it will not stop you from being saved and filled with the holy spirt. God Bless you on your spiritual journey. May the love of God dwell richly upon you.
+tera it is not a requirement. I have recieved and i have not been baptized yet. So there are people who havent been baptized in jesus name who have gotten the holy ghost. You can get it after you've been baptized as well. Hope this helps.

Salvation and power is in his name Read the book of Acts and see how the apostles always, always baptized in Jesus name. Even the Apostle Paul baptized in Jesus' name, even though he wasn't one of the original disciples. Acts 2:38 is God's plan of salvation given to us through the apoatles. You can get the Holy Ghost before baptism, but you still need to be baptized in Jesus' name. I received the Holy Ghost while praying at home in my closet. It's something about praying in your closet that makes you feel that intimacy with God. Jesus said that we haveto be born of water and of the Spirit or we cannot enter into the kingdom of God. You definitely have to believe in Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection, and confess Him with your mouth. Let me explain something to you. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus told the apostles to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. How did the apostles obey His command? By baptizing in Jesus' name the name He was referring to. Father, Son and Holy Ghost are not names, but describes titles, offices of God and His His relationships to humanity. Jesus didn't say repeat my words, but to baptize into the NAME. Just like you have a name. We know you are a female, but that's not your name. When you read the book of Acts, you will see that no one was ever baptized into the TITLES (not one person), but thousands were baptized in the name of Jesus. Why? Let me explain. Peter (the apostle who always spoke for the apostles) said to be baptized in Jesus' name for the remission (forgiveness) of sins. That's why. When they take you under the water, they must say Jesus over you. A lot of people will argue that it doesn't make a difference, but it does. In Acts 19:1-5, even the Apostle Paul re-baptized John the Baptist's disciples over again in name even though John had already baptized them, because He knew they needed to be baptized in Jesus'name. He could've said Father, Son and Holy Ghost, but he didn't. Ask yourself why. How did he know to do that since he wasn't a part of the original disciples that walked with and learned from Jesus. You have one chance to stand before God and since you can read, ask God to reveal if what I'm saying is true. We all know the Son's NAME is Jesus, it's not Son. He wanted them to say the name. Jesus said I have come in my Father's name and the Holy Ghost would be sent back in His name. What name? Jesus. This is why the apoatles always said Jesus when they baptized, because it's the name He was referring to. Many people love God, but don't have a revelation of who God is. The bible says that Jesus opened the apostles understanding so they could understand the scriptures and this is what people need today. There is One Lord, one faith and one baptism. The bible says in the body of Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus is Himself Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
tera Also, so you can understand the Godhead and baptism easier, let me explain and make it clear why Jesus name was practiced by the disciples instead of Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Again, these titles describes God's relationships to humanity. There is one God. When you open your bible, it says in the beginning God. It doesn't say Father, Son and Holy Ghost, just God. This is how God introduced Himself. When God created man on the earth, that's when God became the Father of mankind. He was not the Father before that, only after He created us. Before that Hebwas just God. When man fell and God wanted to redeem us through His precious and pure blood, He put on flesh and was born through a virgin named Mary. Then God who was the Father, also became the Son of God (also Son of mankind), the Holy Ghost is God's Spirit, and also Whom we know in spiritual rejevenation. This doesn't make Him 3. Gods, but one God who had three offices. Jesus was Father in creation, Son in redemption and Holy Ghost in spiritual rejuvenation, and this is why the apostles only baptized into Jesus name. People say God is three in one, but the bible says these three are one. In Isaiah, God said, "Is there a God besides me? Yea, there is no God, I know not any."

ABIGAIL THOMAS God fills us with His Spirit through us seeking Him with our whole heart. Acts 5:32 teaches us that God gives His Spirit to those who obey Him. Truly repenting from every ounce of the love for the world, and seeking Him through prayer, fasting, and in the Word is how He moves inside. Prayer with fasting breaks chains off of us. He then moves in at the time when we are ready to allow Him to live in and through us.

Hello Gabriel, I have not not yet been baptised with the Holy Spirit and I was revolted ,so i fasted one evening and God called me to do a 40 day fast with water . I'm currently on day 3 , God has given me revelation about what it means to seek ,ask and knock. Any tips ?

He is referring to Paul, Romans 1;21 and that we can/are taking steps away from "being on fire" by doing "our own thing" and by not praising, thanking and honoring Him. And then he reverses it and say that the way to staying full of God is to praise, thank and honor Him. But check it out. He is explaining it with a lot of examples AND he is doing it in SUCH a funny way 😄! The audience is laughing almost as much as I am when listening to him 😂!

What is the reason that we can perform miraculous power in the name of Jesus? Repented yet not having any spiritual experience is because you repented doctrinally and you did not surely repent before God. You must repent that you tried to live on your own without God, and you must realize and confess that you cannot live on your own. Then God will give you the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will testify with uncountable gifts and power. What humans absolutely lack are things like the truth and the power of the Holy Spirit. These things are not ideological power but practical experiences. The power does not stay in Christians’ individual bodies but through their bodies, it moves to others, and appear as signs and work as wonders. It is unhappy that these wonders do not appear in Christian churches because modern churches do not fulfill their duties. However, for them who truly turned their way to God, these signs as testimony are universal and Jesus Christ is the same now and before. For them who intend to live on their own God has blocked His ears and closed His eyes. Yet for them who intend to live with the will of God and obey the truth, God will be with them. @@mg.323 Three times in the book of Acts it says that believers recieved the Holy Spirit, Acts ch 2, 10, and 19. In all three instances the first thing that happened was that they spoke in "tongues." Speaking in " tongues" isn't speaking in unlearned earthly languages, is speaking in one spiritual language. What you still need is to be baptized in the Holy Spirit that's to be filled to overflowing.

@@katbornagain You need to ask Jesus for the Holy Spirit. It's a gift, but you need to ask. I received it when I was baptized in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. By getting baptized that way, I received it. But, I didn't know I had it because I was just ten, and nobody explained to me that I had it. I guess they didn't know or didn't recognize it. I backslid away from Christianity and didn't really come back until I was 65 years old. Then, Jesus came to me in my home, and the Holy Spirit took hold of me and started making my body and parts of me (my arm) move when I wasn't in control of it. Jesus made me drink three glasses of water and then insisted that I drink water a lot. I have to drink seven glasses of water a day. Room temperature is best. This was to save my life because I was not in good health. I lost a bunch of weight and improved my health. I had to learn to trust Jesus and obey His every word, which I discovered through prayer. I have to pray about everything so that I know what Jesus (God) wants me to do at each moment. It's very difficult but worthwhile as I know now I am a chosen person and a servant of Almighty God. Nothing could be more important. I have heard God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit speak. They speak to me all the time now...every day and at night several times a day. People don't believe me, but Jesus says not to worry about that. He says, "Don't worry what sinful man and sinful woman think of you." Just be concerned if you are doing the will of God. If you are, then you don't need to worry about what anyone thinks. Something that happened as a result of this is that my husband didn't believe me, and he couldn't live with me anymore. So, I moved out, and we are living separately now. That is hard. I don't know what the future will bring. I am just following the footsteps of Jesus and trusting and obeying Him.
It's crazy how he said at 02:55 that he felt so energetic. I actually felt that today. I started reading the Bible and was feeling tired and yawning. After reading a few verses to my mother, I said, let's pray. Now before we prayed together, I prayed (within myself) asking God to fill me with Holy Spirit and I want to be lead by the Spirit in prayer. Still feeling sleepy, I began to pray with my mother and I began to feel, almost an immediate adrenalin rush. Like I suddenly WOKE UP! I was trembling a little bit and even my voice trembled. But it literally felt like a sudden adrenalin rush and I suddenly knew exactly what to pray... that was definitely the Holy Spirit. 🙏
Also...at 11:15 the lady talks about a flood of thoughts in the morning, I have also found that God speaks to me right when I wake up (sometimes HE wakes me up) and my mind is full of thoughts of... you need to pray about this, about that. You need to do this, do that. Speak to this person and that person and tell them this... it's crazy. God knows that right as you wake up is the ONLY time of the day we're not distracted and can hear Him clearly. It's just amazing to me. I think I'm going to start sleeping with a notebook and pen next to me, from now on.

I experienced to be possessed by the Holy Spirit twice, whatever it was I know from my heart it was the Holy Spirit! Because I was praying sincerely and fully dependent on GOD at that time around 4 in the morning. When I was at the verge of my prayer the word/s coming out from my mouth suddenly kept on repeating and it became faster and faster I was aware I was speaking that way but I have no control over my body. And then a sudden flash came in before my eyes and I realized I was not speaking from my mind but from my soul and spirit like I don't have to think a word to say that my mouth kept on speaking and speaking from what my spirit has to say.What amazes me experiencing the Holy Spirit was my physical body being thrown around like I was being swayed by the wind until I completely laid on the floor, I was keeping on praising our GOD, thanking HIM, confessing and admitting my sins to forgive me. I felt my spirit was crying because of so much joy and longingly to be in the presence of GOD like I was ready to get there in heaven.

I grew up Catholic for 19 years and then in non-denominational churches that talked against the Holy Spirit from 1991-2016. I had a roommate a few years ago that was passionate about the Lord and she had a beautiful prayer language. Last year in a state of desperation I started attending a Pentecostal church about 9 months ago. The pastor always prays over each of us every week for whatever we need spiritually, yet I still have not received the Baptism of Fire. I was able to speak in tongues just ONE time and that was the week I was taken through an intense deliverance. I can't really say I'm consistently on fire for God. I want more, but totally discouraged about the lack of transformation that I see happening in everyone else.

To me the Holy Spirit came in waves. It didn’t seem instant. I was praying more and more and it felt like demons weren’t letting go at All and I could only slightly feel it. Then one day I felt it fully! I can’t help but weep with joy and happiness and all day I just kept thinking how good God is uncontrollably and couldn’t quit thanking God!! Best most amazing feeling ever! Stronger than any drug could ever be. I’ve been a Christian all my life saved when I was like 7 or at least I thought I was.

That's what I want,I have asked jesus hundreds of not thousands of times to baptize me in the holy spirit and to my knowledge he never has so I always get discouraged and think I don't matter to jesus anymore and go right back into a sinful life. I tell him I need the holy spirit so I can be closer to jesus and know him in a more intimate way and have a true relationship with him because that's what I truly want. Never seems to happen. I want to bring others to christ starting with my drug addicted daughter and my son but I can't do any of that until I find my way first. I'm actually scared that I messed up somewhere along the way that the lord turned his back on me . I know the bible doesn't teach us that he gives up on us but that's what it feels like. What if I denounced the holy spirit in a time of my life and don't remember or just don't know that I did...I just don't know what to do. I want a life with jesus and just can't seem to get that.

As far as sensing how people feel, I did that most of my life long before my faith, I do think that each persons baptism with the Holy Spirit might be different.
To answer the first comment, there are different beliefs about water baptism. I say, Jesus himself got water baptized, so if you have access to baptism, do it, absolutely, as a sign of obedience. A thief on the cross didnnt have an opportunity, so he is ok, but we do have an opportunity. Just go to church where they baptize with full submersion and ask them to get baptized. You might even deside to attend church occasionally. I felt Holy Spirit entering my body 25 years after water baptism and after falling out of my faith and then returning. I didn't expect it so I couldn't have induced it. Perhaps each persons experience is different. It was an overwulming electric warming sensation in my chest. Moments into this experience, I KNEW what was happening. It was gentle and blissful, not like the woman's experience in the video. It was compatible to people's description of NDEs. I felt the same clarity as the woman in the video. Pray for it but don't expect it all the time. It will happen when you are ready. Good luck!
This is EXACTLY how I felt...I was in Church and standing when my eye sight started getting blurry, I got a warm feeling and started feeling like I was going to pass out, I told my husband that something was happening..I got an overwhelming feeling, like somebody shot a million milligrams of morphine all at once, a sense of peace, a peace so much that I told My husband I was dying...And it spoke to me "Say I am here, Tell them I am Real" and once I stated that loudly for everybody to hear, the heaviness in my chest released, my sins were forgiven and I started to cry...And couldn't stop crying. I haven't been the same since...it was such a beautiful experience and I feel very humble to have received such a gift!! GOD BLESS EVERYBODY!!! GOD IS VERY REAL!!!

hi I'm not sure how to personally message people on RUclips but I am 18 y.o and have been believing in Christ since I can remember but my family and I do not go to church and I am basically self teaching myself for the past couple of weeks and staying up until 5:00am most nights since then. I am eagerly seeking the spirit so that I can be saved and do what God planned for me to do. I have not been baptized in water is that a requirement before hand ?

All you have to do to be saved is first: repent(show/express remorse for past sins) Second:Believe AND confess that Jesus Christ is the son of God; that he died and rose from the dead for the remission of your sins. Then pray and ask God to baptize you with his Holy Spirt with the evidence of speaking in tongues(for initial evidence) and manifestation of the fruits of the spirit. Seek the Holy Spirit for wisdom and council in finding a church near you. Baptism(water immersion) is important and essential, but it will not stop you from being saved and filled with the holy spirt. God Bless you on your spiritual journey. +tera it is not a requirement. I have recieved and i have not been baptized yet. So there are people who havent been baptized in jesus name who have gotten the holy ghost. You can get it after you've been baptized as well. Hope this helps.

Salvation and power is in his name Read the book of Acts and see how the apostles always, always baptized in Jesus name. Even the Apostle Paul baptized in Jesus' name, even though he wasn't one of the original disciples. Acts 2:38 is God's plan of salvation given to us through the apoatles. You can get the Holy Ghost before baptism, but you still need to be baptized in Jesus' name. I received the Holy Ghost while praying at home in my closet. It's something about praying in your closet that makes you feel that intimacy with God. Jesus said that we haveto be born of water and of the Spirit or we cannot enter into the kingdom of God. You definitely have to believe in Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection, and confess Him with your mouth. Let me explain something to you. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus told the apostles to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. How did the apostles obey His command? By baptizing in Jesus' name the name He was referring to. Father, Son and Holy Ghost are not names, but describes titles, offices of God and His His relationships to humanity. Jesus didn't say repeat my words, but to baptize into the NAME. Just like you have a name. We know you are a female, but that's not your name. When you read the book of Acts, you will see that no one was ever baptized into the TITLES (not one person), but thousands were baptized in the name of Jesus. Why? Let me explain. Peter (the apostle who always spoke for the apostles) said to be baptized in Jesus' name for the remission (forgiveness) of sins. That's why. When they take you under the water, they must say Jesus over you. A lot of people will argue that it doesn't make a difference, but it does. In Acts 19:1-5, even the Apostle Paul re-baptized John the Baptist's disciples over again in name even though John had already baptized them, because He knew they needed to be baptized in Jesus'name. He could've said Father, Son and Holy Ghost, but he didn't. Ask yourself why. How did he know to do that since he wasn't a part of the original disciples that walked with and learned from Jesus. You have one chance to stand before God and since you can read, ask God to reveal if what I'm saying is true. We all know the Son's NAME is Jesus, it's not Son. He wanted them to say the name. Jesus said I have come in my Father's name and the Holy Ghost would be sent back in His name. What name? Jesus. This is why the apoatles always said Jesus when they baptized, because it's the name He was referring to. Many people love God, but don't have a revelation of who God is. The bible says that Jesus opened the apostles understanding so they could understand the scriptures and this is what people need today. There is One Lord, one faith and one baptism. The bible says in the body of Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus is Himself Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
tera Also, so you can understand the Godhead and baptism easier, let me explain and make it clear why Jesus name was practiced by the disciples instead of Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Again, these titles describes God's relationships to humanity. There is one God. When you open your bible, it says in the beginning God. It doesn't say Father, Son and Holy Ghost, just God. This is how God introduced Himself. When God created man on the earth, that's when God became the Father of mankind. He was not the Father before that, only after He created us. Before that Hebwas just God. When man fell and God wanted to redeem us through His precious and pure blood, He put on flesh and was born through a virgin named Mary. Then God who was the Father, also became the Son of God (also Son of mankind), the Holy Ghost is God's Spirit, and also Whom we know in spiritual rejevenation. This doesn't make Him 3. Gods, but one God who had three offices. Jesus was Father in creation, Son in redemption and Holy Ghost in spiritual rejuvenation, and this is why the apostles only baptized into Jesus name. People say God is three in one, but the bible says these three are one. In Isaiah, God said, "Is there a God besides me? Yea, there is no God, I know not any."

ABIGAIL THOMAS God fills us with His Spirit through us seeking Him with our whole heart. Acts 5:32 teaches us that God gives His Spirit to those who obey Him. Truly repenting from every ounce of the love for the world, and seeking Him through prayer, fasting, and in the Word is how He moves inside. Prayer with fasting breaks chains off of us. He then moves in at the time when we are ready to allow Him to live in and through us.

Hello Gabriel, I have not not yet been baptised with the Holy Spirit and I was revolted ,so i fasted one evening and God called me to do a 40 day fast with water . I'm currently on day 3 , God has given me revelation about what it means to seek ,ask and knock.

He is referring to Paul, Romans 1;21 and that we can/are taking steps away from "being on fire" by doing "our own thing" and by not praising, thanking and honoring Him. And then he reverses it and say that the way to staying full of God is to praise, thank and honor Him. But check it out. He is explaining it with a lot of examples AND he is doing it in SUCH a funny way 😄! The audience is laughing almost as much as I am when listening to him 😂!

What is the reason that we can perform miraculous power in the name of Jesus?
Repented yet not having any spiritual experience is because you repented doctrinally and you did not surely repent before God.
You must repent that you tried to live on your own without God, and you must realize and confess that you cannot live on your own.
Then God will give you the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will testify with uncountable gifts and power.
What humans absolutely lack are things like the truth and the power of the Holy Spirit.
These things are not ideological power but practical experiences.
The power does not stay in Christians’ individual bodies but through their bodies, it moves to others, and appear as signs and work as wonders.
It is unhappy that these wonders do not appear in Christian churches because modern churches do not fulfill their duties.
However, for them who truly turned their way to God, these signs as testimony are universal and Jesus Christ is the same now and before.
For them who intend to live on their own God has blocked His ears and closed His eyes.
Yet for them who intend to live with the will of God and obey the truth, God will be with them. Therefore, mercy and compassion of the One who did not spare His only Son shall appear as the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

For salvation, people just need to
follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and
of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and
resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the
same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection =
being filled with the Holy Ghost and rising again from the dead. That's
what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9,
in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that
OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom
of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven.
St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he
cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own
gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we or an angel from heaven preach
any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let
him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews,
Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match-up with the
scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away.

is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in
them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of
me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The
book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter
the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to
show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's
better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong
direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts
2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines.
Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Jesus
Christ was our perfect example back to God. He was baptized and received
the Holy Ghost and we must be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. He
was holy and walked in righteousness and we must be holy and walk in
righteousness. He died and rose again, and we must die to the things of
this world and rise to walk in the newness of life. He prayed to the
father showing us how to pray to the father. If you believe in this
