I Did it with Boomerang+ Anchor, 300+ Dash curse, rush atack on alter, Cooldown reduc up to 2,5sec, bubble trinket "spam", anchor's alter gives you a lot of s and has a decent gap closer at the start and you can instantly dash out at the end withthou getting damaged. IMO, shops needs a "upgrade" especially the hidden one, too much cogs on runs can really be frustrating when you are on a bad run and thats all you get from chests, weapon affinites reroll or where you can get it from one weapon and put it on another (this way you are still encouraged to play with all weapons), oh and gift slot(I guess can be part of the shop upgrade), but there were a few times I got to the last biome without ANY extra ones.
I've beaten Cataclysmic difficulty rather quickly using kunai knives and anchor boom. It was just an alter anchor boom spam, but it was turbo effective. Fun fact: I didn't know about the echo reliant mutations up until now (I guess I'm picking echo next time to check out a new build for me)
Up to cataclysmic the diffcult was kinda fun ... cataclysmic only felt like a chore ... hoping for luck in gear and upgrades and then cheesing the hell out of it. Ones and never again (at least for now)
You didn't get a "lucky boost," that gift only effects if the boost is a level higher, or enhanced, not the appearance rate. You can tell if a boost option is enhanced when it has a pulsing gold border around it. Even with how powerful critical echo is, good job on the run. I recently beat stormy and these higher difficulties are really good for dodge practice.
I just haven't bothered with latter half of the difficulties, It's too early in development to meaningfully beat them, and what's the point of "beating" the difficulty if all it took was to get some specific OP build, it's just not satisfying when it doesn't work out the way you'd like
i swear the go to build in higher difficulties is boomerang beatbolt, anything else just makes the game harder on you

😊 watching your first cataclysmic stream was great. Kept saying "last one" like 5 attempts in a row.
One of those last ones will eventually be the last one
Echo + assassinate is so strong, especially with leafade
I feel this pain man. I can’t seem to get better 😭
