      Thats what happens when you bat 3rd or 4th in the lineup. Just look at how many Betts hits with 0 or 1 outs because he leads off.

    Really is impressive how many of these are opposite feild, expecially in Fenway.

    Loved watching 28 smash homeruns for my hometown Dbacks but their loss is Boston's gain. I pull for the Dbacks but the Sox and Patriots are my teams. Now I am enjoying the hell out of him being in Boston and killing the Yankees. As I sat here and watched this vid, couldn't help but chuckle at the fact that 28 hit his first homer with the Red Sox againt none other than the Dodger ace. How ironic, the only HR he hit in the WS, you guessed it, it was against Klayton Krushaw. How sweet is that.

    I saw Ramirez trotting home in front of J D a few times there. I forgot that he was still with the Sox early in the season. Reminds me of Nomar leaving and then the Sox win the WS that year. They’re the Pete Bests of baseball.

    • @Confidential619

      TN Nutmeggorgon he’s not saying that, he’s just saying he’s happy to have another guy on the team to save the Red Sox like he did.

    • @djb.wrastles.2072
      @djb.wrastles.2072 6 лет назад

      HispanicCausinPanic he literally said he’s happy to have JD replace him how can you interpret that any differently 😂 I never argued or debated anything I said I disagree I do think he’s building a similar legacy that gives him the same role as Ortiz... calm yourself.

    • @Confidential619
      @Confidential619 6 лет назад +2

      TN Nutmeggorgon he doesn’t mean it like that though. He meant it in a different way. Cause the Red Sox prolly needed another big hitter like he was. (I don’t keep up with the red s cause you have to pay for that where I’m at) but anyways yeah. He saying like he’s glad they ANOTHER GOOD player replace him. Instead of someone that wouldn’t help. Like it’s a good choice. It’s not like they said “Ortiz you gotta go cause we got this new kid coming in” . He left, Red Sox needed another good player, an now they got him, an he’s happy that this new person is on the team, cause it’s obviously a good choice..so far.

      Lynch Stephen not to mention he's literally the most consistent hitter in baseball history, going on 4 straight seasons with a .247 batting average.
      Y'all right tho, good player, 35-40hr a year with an average that leaves room for even more

      nobody hits triple deck opposite field homeruns.
      Not too many people hit as many opposite field homeruns as he does.
      He does crush them to center and left though

    • @eliasscimeca9727
      @eliasscimeca9727 6 лет назад +6

      He is able to keep his high batting average because he hits to all parts of the field so he doesn’t f up his swing trying to pull home runs all the time
