- It's a holly jolly Victorian Christmas! Take a peek inside this delightful Victorian dollhouse, currently on view at the Brandywine River Museum of Art, and learn all about the history and teeny, tiny details of this home as we move room to room with the Brandywine's curatorial assistant, Carol Ellis.
Thank you so much for the tour, I loved every minute of it! ❤❤❤
Actually several different scales at play here. The basket of apples is massive, beside the tiny cat, smaller than an apple.
No, you’re wrong, back in the 19th century they had apples that were as big as a cat, but they were too big to carry, and you couldn’t eat a whole one, they were used as cannon ball’s during the boar war, and eventually cross breeding gave us the small tasteless apples that our supermarkets prefer…
Que hermosa casita me encanta .
What a beautiful dolls house and what a privilege to be shown it in such detail XX
