I'm sorry but i disagree as i liked Sol Katti and my Lyn was hitting everything with it for real even the final boss and i don't remember using Body Ring
Less of a joke weapon, but very obscure, was the 7-Sword and 11-Shield from a Japanese exclusive crossover event between Fire Emblem Echoes and 7/11, which came with an assortment of random funny consumables as well.
The 7-Sword and 11-Shield have such cool designs that they unironically could be used by an actual FE Lord as their personal weapons (possibly a time traveler due to the clock theme)
The Engage joke weapons aren’t consumed by attacking with them. They have the standard infinite uses and have the option to be used as vulneraries, which will use them up. You also cannot forge them since they are consumables
The engage joke weapons can be forged but only into regular weapons unfortunately. You can at least engrave them if you are committed to being a little bit silly 🌚
Funnily enough, in Fire Emblem Fates, most of the joke weapons were better than their "serious" counterparts. The best example is the parasol. While only having one might, the parasol could: follow-up, crit, and trigger skills. The kodachi, the ONLY other 1-2 range katana in the game (not including Raijinto), gave the enemy +5 speed, couldn't follow-up, couldn't crit, and couldn't trigger skills.
The Miniature Spear may only have 20 more hit, but that 55 crit is yummy, on top of being 1-2 range. So in mini: it's a weaker, less accurate, and less durable Javelin that can crit a lot.
missed opportunity to put the beo sword from fe5 it's not at all a bad weapon, but it gives both vantage and wrath at the same time except vantage and wrath literally can't work together in fe5, so it only gives vantage
Iirc, there's some weird criteria where it does if the opponent has vantage, but I forget if you or the foe has to initiate combat and how wrath works (first counterattack or all counterattacks)
That croissant bow made me laugh in my run because i forgot Alcryst had it equipped when he promoted so that poor boy was holding it. Of course it had to be him. Poor boy can't catch a break. My mage Anna unironically used tiaramistorm for a good chunk of the early game. After a while she stopped playing with food and started playing with fire though.
The tiramisú tome unironically has a small niche over a regular fire tome, being a solid bit stronger without any forging without having any additional weight like elfire. I've used it in my engage runs in earlygame a lot (and kept it because hitting them with the poop blast will never not be funny)

x2 effectiveness turns any effective weapon into a joke weapon. Special mention to Eliwood's Rapier which has 7 might but due to x2 effectiveness and sometimes WTD, he could end up with 12 might. Roy's rapier is 5 might (4 after WTD) and ends up at 15 (compared to Eliwood's 14) or 12 (WTD). Meanwhile the fe6 horseslayer has 11 might which becomes 33
What’s weird is that there aren’t any gendered classes in Fates (the only FE with reclassing that does so) so having the hairpin being gender locked is bizarre, doubly so in Hoshido, as many of the males there have long hair
Monk/Shrine Maiden and their unique promotions (Great Master and Priestess) say hello. Also by technicality Lancer and Villager, because Lancer only has a male generic design, and there are no capturable villagers (though male villagers *do* exist) and Mozu, who has it as her default class, passes down the Archer line to her kid instead... though that doesn't stop said kid from inheriting Aptitude
There is one joke weapon you missed for Fates, that being the Ember tome, though the only signs it's meant to be a joke weapon are its stats following the E-rank joke weapon trend (10 more hit than brass/bronze but lower might), its attack animation shooting the a fireball that is absolutely pathetic in size, and I think the description says it's not very effective, so it's pretty understandable to miss since nothing about its name or appearance implies it to be a joke weapon. On the topic of magical joke weapons, the Paper's description actually lies to the player; it says it's effective against rocks but doesn't do effective damage to Stoneborn despite them using rocks. Granted, the description was probably just meant as a rock paper scissors joke, but considering rocks are an actual weapon type they could've had the chance to give the Paper some utility there, even if its 1 might would only become 3 and be on par with a Rat Spirit. Some of the weapons named after characters in Fates also kinda feel like joke weapons, namely Felicia's Plate and I believe Jakob's Tray (or Flora's Tray; can't recall the exact name), which are both daggers that look like what they're named after, though I feel like those weapons are meant to be their own category entirely, even if some of them are definitely awful enough to fit the bill as joke weapons. Maybe there could be a separate video talking about those in the future, and I think Awakening also has similar weapons but I haven't played it so I'm not sure
I found out about the Croissbow having infinite uses _and_ being genuinely effective when I had accidentally equipped it to Alcryst during training against Jean. There's just something darkly hilarious about firing baguettes from a giant croissant and getting a crit while your nine-year-old opponent cries "Why me?!" Swore to use the Croissbow whenever I reasonably could after that.
the weaker joke weapons in fates gave avoid bonuses so they were pretty good on high speed units. just slap luna on em and watch em outlast everything provided you dont get unlucky
In Awakening, I used to get Owain the perfect skills to make him an unstoppable murder machine and equip him with a stick that no longer used up durability which I improved and renamed to the „mighty stick“ whith which he‘d unleash armageddon upon his foes. Joke weapons are fun
We am pretty sure we can consider the axes to be joke weapons in Shadow of Valentia. While playing the game you can get iron axes or devil axes but you can’t use them since "they are tools so you can’t use them to fight".
The later two GBA games giving it 8 WEXP per swing and the Archanea remakes giving it 100 hit make it far more scarier to use. You can get 24 wexp per 2HKO/ORKO with Paladin Lowen and his good luck in fe7
The Pine Branch only let down is its low Hit. But guess what, there is one way to make it useable and it loops back to being funny! You know which unit has enough skill to use Pine Branch? Azura! Yes! That means that your dainty little singer who is not supposed to be used in battle can defend herself with a big as heck log and actually make it hurt!
I don't remember why but I used to give Saizo the daikon radish when he was a master ninja. I think it's because I forged them a bunch free and it was better than the other E rank swords.
I remember making effective use of a parasol once when i needed a two range sword to finish off an enemy in the opera stage and it was the only 2 range sword i had
The Joke weapons are only in appearance on the Gacha game, though. FEH usually uses joke weapons as a way to test what will become a standard weapon later on.
i remember in fates pebble could be forged further then normal which combined with regular daggers low relative power made its ceiling way higher(+99 pebble go brrr) also i find lollichop to be annas best weapon in early engage though the reason for which i dont remember

Subaki also has good skill and a hit boosting personal skill. He's not a good unit, but uses the branch pretty well if you're using him.

The Raider weapons were useful for training weapons, they could be used at the lowest proficiency and were decently powerful
