I just listened to a genetisis report that a father was bred to a daughter creating this anomaly. Now that I know this, I hope they don't do it again. Breeders frown on this because it amplifies health issues in the offspring. Sad, I was so excited about this. Now I am not.
I think the baby looks like they may have breeded her mother with a very Tall Camel… The Zoo breeder was wearing his ice cube lenses on his glasses the day he or she mistook the Tall Brown Camel 🐫 for a short Giraffe at the enclosure watering hole called the African Saharan Oasis..😂
@shari9721 You are right. Zoos are another story. Their animals are in confined, supervised spaces under strict care. I felt let down by the story! 1st super excited, then the knowledge of inner breeding in the 2nd story...it felt like such a letdown! 😳 I hope they are not bred together again it's not ethical in this case. 😊
@@shari9721 Dogs and cats are completely different, wild animals generally avoid inbreeding as they either kick out their male children, refuse to mate with them, or it just rarely happens due to the animals dying from predators or competition so you never see long chains of inbreeding in the wild maybe it'll happen twice in a row but it's unlikely. Humans however inbreed animals on purpose which is nnatural and we do it for desired features. They should not be inbreeding endangered animals like Giraffes, if they plan to release the babies to increase the population the lowered gene pool from inbreeding will only hurt wild populations further rather than help

I don't know what language they are translating the name in but if there is a translation for either 'Spotless' or 'Clean' maybe or possibly 'Untouched'... Or maybe even translating something significant about the state of Tennessee..
Since she is a solid color, the Swahili word for solid is IMARA…..That’d be a pretty name🤷♀️
I like this send it in !
@@AmberU they’ve already picked out four names that they want people to vote on🤷♀️. I like IMARA better though.
She's so beautiful! I never seen a baby giraffe without spots. Such gorgeous beauty! Seeing her color, I think naming her Caramel should be it.
Spotless... too cute ❤❤❤

Exactly lol !
she's adorable, will be interesting to see how she looks when full grown
Lets them free stop tring to name
Prisoner
😊 adorable! Sable
She's beautiful!
Tawny would be a good name. 🦒 It means: This name has a distinctly rustic and natural tone, translating to “green field” or “golden brown.”
I think they should name her "Chamille", because her golden fur makes her look a bit like a camel, and it sounds exotic for a creature as rare as her.
If not Spotless, which is a good name, I would call her Clarity
Kipikee! It's so cute!
❤
The mom has a LOT of explaining to do!
Ur Not Lyin"(LION!!!

@@ODINS_daughter Sadly incestuous inbreeding is common with animals , dogs , cats , wild life etc .

Cinnamon would be cute
Looks like a deer with a long neck, so all I've got is Baaaaaambi.

The mother giraffe originally from Kenya or Tanzania. Kipekee is Swahili for unique. They don’t tell you that.
They said the Giraffe looks a bit like a deer, how about "Kulungu"? (Swahili for deer)
