Thanks for the gear tips! Would love to hear about your go-to process for shoots, and if you tend to lean flambient or HDR.

Absolutely! and I've got some videos coming soon about my techniques for shooting! i lean towards HDR, but definitely use flash in some cases!

I am planning to use a voigtlander m 15 4.5 v2 on my z5. The Z5 is unique with this lens because there is little colour cast in the corners of the image unlike on most other cameras where you get purple and green on the edges of the frame when using older style wide lenses

Hey Tyler super good videos so far. I just wanted to point out that for those going with the Canon R types in your mid-range kit people will need an (EF to RF) adapter since the Sigma is not going to fit to the R-mount. Thanks, Canon! Keep up the good work Happy holidays.

Ah good point! Forgot to mention that! But regardless, still works in that price point!

I've seen several of your real estate videos. Do you have a LUT Pack that you sell?

I don’t yet! But if I feel like people would benefit from that, I’d love to!

Tyler, how often on a full frame are you reaching for the 14-24 vs the 16-35?

This is a very good video but I'd like to mention a few things based on my experience:
    1. I would NEVER buy a Sigma lens. The engineering seems to be hit or miss and sometimes you'll get a faulty lens.
    2. I hate, Hate, HATE Photoshop and Lightroom with a passion. I've tried so many tutorials and not one single video has been helpful. The books are just as useless. (Even Scott Kelby's if you can believe that!) The tools are constantly changing, the tutorials Adobe provides are pathetic, and it makes post production so tedious there's no joy in editing. I'll stick with Luminar Neo. It may not have as many options but it works great and it's much easier to use.
    3. DJI drones are on the U.S. Government's ban list so there's not much point in buying one since you may conceivably not be allowed to use it.

Thanks for these great tips! Just wondering why you're preferring the 16-35 instead of the 12-24 for Sony (High-End Kit). I am getting into real estate videography and have to choose between theses two (currently I have a 24-70 and 24 1,4). You would go with the 16-35?
    Thanks for these great videos!

Yes, I would recommend the 16-35 over the 14-24 simply for the fact that you can use circular polarizing filters on the 16-35mm and the 14-24 you can’t! If it weren’t for that, I would probably change my mind, and I know you can buy the adapter to where the filter goes behind the lens, but I didn’t wamt to recommend that

Hi Tyler, great information! I would add creating a website, it's probably the first thing real estate agents look at. Also, do you have a website?

    • @tyler_fraser
      @tyler_fraser  6 месяцев назад

I think a website is impossible for a landing page for agents to see everything you offer and the price! And I do have a website!
      www.tfrep.com

Hi Tyler, and thanks for the reply, but I disagree with you about saying that a website is impossible to use as a landing page. Your website should show everything that you offer and the pricing. Also, your website is excellent by the way, and for me, it acts as a perfect landing page. So basically I think a website or a landing page is one in the same for real estate clients. These are just my thoughts and I enjoy your videos and keep up the great work!
