    Can't wait to see and hear this beast start up!! Man I wish I had the resources to build my f23a like this.. I can't even afford a tune to be able to run my k20 pisrons.. lol. Have to work harder!

      Soon bruh! Mad torque is coming. Take your time building it. Just happened to collect all tools l needed building engines overtime, that l know l'll be using it on the future.

    How did you get the oil cooler to work on the f23 block? I would love to do that since I have a h22 oil cooler that I got for free with the two h22a4 blocks so I have a few things I can hybrid on to my f23a just for extra insurance.. like the oil squirters but they seem to hard to get to work.. but the oil cooler seems like you just routed it to your oil pressure switch sensor? And with the coolant line did you use a h22 coolant pipe ?

      I removed the plug and install a barb fitting. Removed the fitting bolt for the F23 oil filter and install the h22 oil cooler, cut f23 cooler pipe in half and welded a h22 on other side. You can use a f23 cooler pipe hose if you want, just need arm and muscle on h22 side to insert in coz pipe is a bigger.

    Hi, what's the honda part number for the little O-Ring on the oil pump?

      Honda parts catalog for F23 doesn't show it on line, not sure why. But l've been using a seal that you can buy at hardware store( oil seal of course). I just what ever fits. I looked up Prelude H22 pump and it should fit, #91313-pc9-003

      @@sagittnet2158 Thank you man! I was looking for it and couldn't find it. Now I know why lol. Just need to find a h22 crank gear now, honda parts catalog shows it as discontinued.

    Why not eliminate the balance shaft?

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  3 года назад +1

      Eliminating balance shafts is one in the list of things l learned building g23's. I eliminated it on 2 previous Turbo'ed engine that blew up, and l was succesful with balance shafts installed on another g23 NA setup. I thought about it without but l have to use a aftermarket damper, but it's a bit expensive(Damper). So , l said to myself, why not use the balance shafts, it's free, and it works like how how Honda engineered it. You only free up l think around + - 10hp, without it, but since it'll be aspirated engine, l'll pick up those extra hp in no time. Thank you for asking and l might explain it on next episode once upper deck is complete.

      @@sagittnet2158 I always wanted to eliminate the balance shaft in my H22 but if it causes problems like unbalanced rotation it definitely not worth it. Thank you great series and yes I am interested in the video full explanation? Will you be using n/a cams or turbo cams?

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  3 года назад +1

      @@primeaccord It's ok to run it w/o but l highly recommend to use a aftermarket damper to replace the balance shaft specially if car is your daily. I also noticed a sound at certain rpm, l guess thats why they call it a harmonic balancer to cancel out any sound that cause by crank vibration. I'll be nice to get a hold of a set of type S cams, but force inducting h22 doesnt really need it. Now a days with the use of e85, bigger injectors and pump is what give you power now. But l'll stay with pump gas, there not a lot of gas station in my area that sell e85. Thanks again for watching.
