I like the idea of artifiacts as a method to generate interfactional conflict becouse of how inherently "cartoonish" it is. It naturally lends itself to narratives with clear villians (people persuing the artifacts at everyone else's expense) and heros (those trying to stop them), which I think would lend itself to kayfabe, hammy monologues and not taking conflicts too seriously.
yeah lmfao, I don't want anyone to take things too seriously, or else of course, toxicity arises lol

Maybe removing the Explosion't could be better for the economy, because if people don't have enough material to rebuild, they can trade with other factions.
people will have plenty of reason to trade besides repairing their base. If I removed this, people wouldn't build as much cool stuff because it could be so easily destroyed

Scp SL has a mostly positive community if you play on certain servers you should try it
I actually have played it! But for them its the silly goofy and niche nature that improves their community, and it isnt as applicable to my server

Nothing. You would be severely disadvantaged, but it would still technically be possible
