Hey Rob, I wanted to know your thoughts on which height is accurate if we measure facing or back against the wall. I am 170cm facing the wall but 168cm back against wall. It is very annoying..
Either the floor/wall has a slope which effects your reading, or the way you stand with your back against the wall means you are curving your spine and inhibiting your ability to stand tall.
There's also one other option which is trying to hold an object when you have your back against it raises the risk of the object moving slightly. I'm sure that's a reason for a small proportion of mis-measurements.

I measure myself on wall so while measuring I stand straight but I tilt my head backward to get the wall and metric numbers does it's undermesure me as I not getting straight measurement and it not getting the top of head ❓
I would face the wall. It's a lot easier to hold an object, and you might find you can look straight ahead and stand at your tallest height.

If you don't, you could even be 174cm.
Some people bust a gut, it usually only adds a couple mm though.
I stand pretty tall, but I am not really overstretching much.

Hi Rob. I'm 181.5cm in the morning consistently and fall down to 179.7cm every day. Most of the day I'm 180cm flat. I'm 18 1/2 and I need 3cms flat or about an inch for 6 foot. U think that figure is ever closer? I've grown 3cm since turning 17 and 5,5cm since turning 16. 11,5-12cm since 15
183 is 6ft so seems like ur chances of growing to 6ft are likely. For now I think 181cm is a good claim
@@sanjoykundu9197 Yeah I do claim 180cm but most people think I'm taller. And sometimes I say 181cm, because i will likely be that height soon and afterall I'm 182 rounded in the morning so yeah. Actually got measured 180.1cm at an appointment today, it was a midday-afternoon measurement, about 2.30 o'clock.

I have been following your channel and website for quite a long time...
I measure 186 cm right out of bed in the morning and measure 184.7 cm at evening 7 pm. I generally don't measure below 184 cm under normal conditions.. maybe sometimes after extreme hard workout or heavy physical activities I measure a couple of millimetres below that mark.
I wanted to know that if I was a celebrity..at what would I get listed in celebheights ?

@@appelscha23 not really I feel like a midget lol. Yeah I would say their comfortable but only use the first layer otherwise your feet will start hurting. I wear air max that gives me 1.5 inches plus the one inch shoe lifts so I’m just abov3 6ft.
He’s already done the 1s, they add 2.1cm. I have 3s and 4s and they add about an inch. The 11s I also had add 3cm. Almost 1.25 inches

Weird question Big Rob when your out and about if someone asks or has asked your height do you claim 5’8 or taller because as a 5’8 guy myself often times I sort of have to claim 5’9 otherwise I feel like I’d start an altercation for example my brother at 5’7.5 max I believe 5’7 claims 5’9 5’10 and my moms friend claims 5’10 even though he’s at most half an inch taller than myself it’s just weird lol 😂

Yes, a dowager's hump will mean you've lost some height. Jenny has lost height with an upper shoulder/neck hump (that can't be rectified, it's permanent).
Rob, do you know how much height you'd gain with Nike court vision?
Looks about an inch, although some variants might be a few mm more or less

Usually his celeb measurements are afternoon so when he lists them as “flat”, then they’re pretty close to their low

Pretty tall for 14, most boys stop growing at 17, and the average height is around 5’9 ½

Yes you would be indistinguishable from those 5ft 9.5 celebs...whether you grow or not? At 17, there's a chance of another 1-2cm on average.

He kinda contradicts himself often, he’s done that same thing with Ronaldo and Shawn Mendes. He always says that his site listings are lunchtime but I tend to think they’re more like afternoon.

I need to ask you something when i measure my height with a water bottle from cap side I am getting my height 181 CM but when I measure from opposite side I am getting 179cm why is that(around 2pm)
I’d try to find an aerosol can as water bottles might give a bigger margin of error. Or use a hardback book. Good luck

Most people will typically shrink 2cm. Shrinking an inch usually happens when doing intense exercise.

@Sanjoy Kundu I’d be surprised if he’s under 6ft. He got measured 6’2 in a video which was likely in shoes. Also in photos of him next to Ronaldinho and KSI both 5’10 ½, he looks a good 2 inches taller minimum. So 6’ ½ might be his height

Some folks do see a slight noticeable height change but by 46 most people will still be at their peak, and by the 50s most people will begin shrinking.
