- WOW! In 40 years of covering the Royal Family I have never seen anything like Catherine’s video.
It’s a first for the royals and these wonderful three minutes of footage brings home just how grateful this young family are that their mum is over the worst.
Finally, after nearly six months of chemotherapy, Catherine is looking forward to being cancer-free.
And joy and relief for the royal couple and their amazing children oozes from every frame.
Once William told me the reason he and Kate took their time getting engaged was because he wanted to make sure his marriage would last forever.
Watching Kate snuggle into her husband’s shoulder as they sat on a pile of logs in the pine woods at Holkham beach, in Norfolk, says to me that they are still very much in love.

Commiserations to you. It’s very very hard losing family members to cancer. I lost my parents to cancer, then my husband, it took years for me to get past the grief. I’m so pleased for Princess Catherine, she has fought, with the help of her family, a brave battle with this dreadful disease. My very best wishes to you all

It is indeed a very touching video. My husband went through cancer treatment for many months, our children were teenagers at the time, so it was a very difficult time for our family, but thankfully, he has since been cancer-free. But we both have lost extended family members to cancer. My prayers for Princess Catherine, may she continue to be cancer-free. And prayers for all those going through chemo, may they focus on the positive and may they be encouraged and healed.

Catherine, Princess of Wales has been well raised by her parents. She seems to be a kind, gentle soul, albeit with steely resolve. That's a great character trait. She is now greatly admired for the way she has always presented herself from the time she joined that family. It seems as if she is following her own path on this cancer journey, and trying to ensure she finds the balance in self care, while carrying out Royal duties. I heartily applaud her mindfulness in this regard. Wishing her all the best.
So thankful for this good news. Going through cancer treatment myself, and knows the difficulty of dark days and then so thankful for the good days. Prayed for your recovery and this is such good news. May you and your family know many more years of good and gracious things forward.
