7:03 *It's all about that "Manggaeddeok" Jin's talking there.* "-ddeok" is basically a word in Korean for "rice cake." and "manggaeddeok" is one kind of traditional Korean rice cakes.
Non-Korean ARMYs usually just call Jimin as "Mochi" *but in Korea we call him by both 'Mochi' and 'Manggaeddeok' since the latter is more familiar to us than mochi, which came from Japan.*
Manggae is originally a plant and is used when making a "manggaeddeok". *That greenish thing(=hat) in Jin's hands is a leaf* (surely not a real one tho) with which we Koreans cover the 'Manggaeddeok' when eating that rice cake and that's why Jimin puts that hat on his head, he IS a Manggaeddeok lol😂🤣. It is because of the good scent those leaves carry, I guess.

The chaotic j-hope/v with the two girls in between--that's Mamamoo and they are the two most like uninhibited, crackhead groups so it was cool to see them get to be funny and have a good time together. I'm not a multi so inter-group actions are not anything super special to me but I did love seeing that whole set. haha. Wheein, Byul, Tae, and Hobi (and my biases from the groups are Hobi and Wheein). It was a good time.

They get a lot of cheers because they have the biggest fanbase, but also they're "special MCs" which means they're MC for only a day so of course everyone is excited. Other hosts there have been MCs in music shows for a year or more.😊
These shows aren’t really award shows, there kind of like top of the pops, but at the end 1 group gets an award if they’ve collected the most points for their song that week

Some info: a lot of these clips were actually from music shows rather than award shows, think kind of like Top Of The Pops when it still had weekly episodes ☺
Korea has a lot of different music shows, which is why the promotions for new comebacks are so busy and involved, but I would say it also contributes to why the fans feel so connected to their groups as they can watch live programmes featuring them multiple times a week, if not every day around a comeback ☺
(A lot of this is just my perspective/observations, so I apologise if any info is wrong, as I am a British ARMY, so only know things from observing over the years)
