Wonbin has insane stage presence and body language that’s what make people think that he’s better than shotaro (he even made me doubt in their debut) but when you analyse them closely, you can see how Shotaro is more accurate with his technique. Imo even Seunghan is better than Wonbin 🤐

Wonbin is in his own right an awesome dancer, but Shotaro is the main dancer in RIIZE or any other group if I'm being serious. I have watched a lot of professional dancers react to RIIZE without much knowledge of the members and they were almost always focused on Shotaro, cos he is a professional dancer and he moves differently. I suggest to look at his dance challenge and the collaborations he had with Bada Lee and other choreographers to see him at near full capacity.
Riize is really blessed to have trio dancer Shotaro, Wonbin, and Seunghan. Everyone has a unique dance style, and the combo gives the best performance in the industry. 🔥🔥🌾🌾

I'd go as far to say that Shotaro is one of the best dancers in SM history. I think Wonbin does represent the SM main dancer standard but Shotaro's skills are literally beyond the typical SM standard. There's a reason SM debuted him within months.

There's a reason why Shotaro has the most views on his fancam and Wonbin has the most views on his facecam in riize. When it comes to dancing, Shotaro is the go to. No one is discrediting Wonbin, but as the title stated, this is supposedly a video showing pro dancers finding the main dancer. But all we are looking at are three ladies, who are apparently Wonbin biased, coming to the conclusion that Wonbin is the main dancer over Shotaro. Now, no one said Wonbin can't dance, but Shotaro is in a league of his own when it comes to dancing. That's why people are defending Shotaro.

How they didn't single out Shotaro is beyond me. He is so clearly the best of them, which is quite an achievement because they are all amazing and wonderfully synched.
Shotaro is such a great dancer but he also has the ability to not stand out actively or draw attention to himself unless you're actively looking at him, then you notice how great he is. Which i think comes with pros and cons. I think it's a skill that alot of backup or professional dancers have learned

본인 곡들 안무로 진행하는 영상들만 보여주는 걸로는 한계가 있는 듯. 본인 곡을 못 추는 아이돌은 없으니까. 결국엔 오직 춤만을 위한 춤을 췄을 때 얼마나 잘추느냐를 봐야하는데 그런 부분까지 봤을 때 이의없이 쇼타로일 수 밖에 없음. 애초에 5살 때부터 기본기부터 탄탄하게 거의 평생을 춤춰왔고 댄서시절에도 꽤 유명했다던데 이걸 어떻게 이겨...
기술적인 부분도 그렇고 댄스는 아니지만 몸쓰는 일을 해본 사람으로써 쇼타로의 댄스를 보면 정말 감탄을 넘어 경악스럽습니다 10년 이상 돌판에 있으면서 이렇게 퀄리티 좋은 댄스는 처음 봐서 더더욱요 개인적으로 쇼타로는 라이즈보단 엔시티같이 난해하고 어려운 안무에서 더 돋보이는 것 같긴 합니다

It's hard to recognize the real main dancer, because Wonbin is the center, so he gets a lot of the spotlights in main dance parts. Both are great dancers
Wonbin has that eye catching factor whenever he performing. He really good at face expression. His stage presence is insane. The moment the song start, eyes will moving where wonbin go. RIIZE's choreos and positions (except the mini solo dance break in GAG) do highlight Wonbin more so I kind of get it why they picked Wonbin. If you really want to see Shotaro's real dance capability you need to see his pre-debut dance videos. RIIZE's choreos are for the most parts too easy for him.
riize have 3 dance line, shotaro, wonbin, and seunghan. But I think Shotaro is the main dancer because he is a professional dancer. Nevertheless, RIIZE is all great performer and all-rounder.
They are both amazing dancers, I think the difference is maybe training and experience, they are both AMAZING and as wonbin is the center of the group he tends to be in the front a lot, shotaro has been dancing since he was a child and maybe that's why he can do many genres of dance (as you can see in awards presentations) since he said he took lessons of many many different genres of dance since he was 5. I don't know much about dance tbh about technical stuff so I won't talk about that, I just can say we were very lucky to have shotaro, wonbin and seunghan as the dance line of RIIZE, they are powerful and so good

Naah, you just showed some clips where wonbin shined. All pro dancer would say shotaro is the main dancer if they saw more clips. Shotaro is an insane dancer. We love wonbin and hoe good he dances but there are some differences that make you see why shotaro is the main dancer.
You should not pay attention to this channel because they are quite biased. They usually choose the person who stands out more (center) than the real dancer. Watch the other videos and you will realize that they don't really know much about dancing.

RIIZE don’t have official positions but Shotaro would be “the main dancer” for the purpose of this video. Wonbin and Seunghan are also apart of the group’s unofficial dance line though!
shotaro is the main dancer. a man who was a professional dancer and is talented enough to choreograph and teach dancing. wonbin is more of a lead dancer because you cant compare him to a pro and he is already the center. seunghan completes this trio.
I watched riize's mama and mma performance, and I can assure you Shotaro is subjectively and objectively the main dancer of riize. Any members who wants to usurp Shotaro's main dancer position, please do what Shotaro did, and if it is on par maybe I'd change my mind. Even the members and staff acknowledged Shotaro's main dancer position, so there's no need to fight over it at all.
@@irenesara455 Nah, I watched many pro dancers who reacted to RIIZE and they have not seen Shotaro in NCT before, but they were all able to pick him out just because of how he danced. They were able to vocalise the reasons that Shotaro caught their eyes - how wide his movements were, the angle he picked, how sharp he moved, that extra bounce he gave, how on beat he was, how his head stayed while his body turned before he completed the rotation. Some of you are weird, is it so difficult to acknowledge that Shotaro is the better dancer? He was a pro dancer before he came to Korea and had been a teacher too. Rather, you sound like you have already set up your mind because you like Wonbin. You can like Wonbin's dance style, charisma, personality and face, but Shotaro is the better dancer and that is a fact.

@@irenesara455 I think you are missing the point. Shotaro is a better dancer overall, but of course there will be times that Wonbin may dance well too. By the way, a wider and accentuated move does not necessarily means that it's good. It depends on the type of dance, what is to be expressed in the performance and dynamics are super important too. An example of what I've seen recently, during the fancon, Wonbin and Sohee danced to nct dream's Smoothie side by side. Wonbin's moves were really wide and accentuated, but it ended up looking like his arms were flaying about, and Sohee while not having wide movements looked so much better. It's about the control and angle too. And then you should see Shotaro dancing to Smoothie, his control was impeccable. Basically, wide does not mean better, there are so many things to it.

Like dont hate me but those professionals are not professional cause look at the technique in which shotaro dances like i cant even express in words, look at his magic i know wonbin is a great dancer but not in comparision of shotaro. Shotaro has another level of dance and boy he got a groove. Wonbin is most of the time placed in center thats why they can see him dance more. And talking abot charisma shotaro is the most charismatic dancer i have seen in my little pathetic life. Wonbin dances with swag but shotaro dances with dance rules and im not hating wonbin he is a gold but shotaro is a gem.
My bias line so far has been Woobin, Shotaro and Anton which has stayed the same since their debut but of course I equally love & support the full group.

There's a reason why Shotaro has the most views on his fancam and Wonbin has the most views on his facecam in riize. When it comes to dancing, Shotaro is the go to. No one is discrediting Wonbin, but as the title stated, this is supposedly a video showing pro dancers finding the main dancer. But all we are looking at are three ladies, who are apparently Wonbin biased, coming to the conclusion that Wonbin is the main dancer over Shotaro. Now, no one said Wonbin can't dance, but Shotaro is in a league of his own when it comes to dancing. That's why people are defending Shotaro.

It should be completely the other way around, No one is discrediting Shotaro, but Wonbin already has all the qualities of a main dancer. He is just as good as Shotaro, if not even better in some aspects. They both have their own strong point, and where the other one lacks, the other one delivers. This isnt an opinion of someone who stans them, but just someone who watched only their dances.

RIIZE's choreos and positions (except the mini solo dance break in GAG) do highlight Wonbin more so I kind of get it why they picked Wonbin. If you really want to see Shotaro's real dance capability you need to see his pre-debut dance videos. RIIZE's choreos are for the most parts too easy for him.

They are both amazing dancers, I think the difference is maybe training and experience, they are both AMAZING and as wonbin is the center of the group he tends to be in the front a lot, shotaro has been dancing since he was a child and maybe that's why he can do many genres of dance (as you can see in awards presentations) since he said he took lessons of many many different genres of dance since he was 5.
I don't know much about dance tbh about technical stuff so I won't talk about that, I just can say we were very lucky to have shotaro, wonbin and seunghan as the dance line of RIIZE, they are powerful and so good

I watched riize's mama and mma performance, and I can assure you Shotaro is subjectively and objectively the main dancer of riize. @@irenesara455 I think you are missing the point. Shotaro is a better dancer overall, but of course there will be times that Wonbin may dance well too. By the way, a wider and accentuated move does not necessarily means that it's good. It depends on the type of dance, what is to be expressed in the performance and dynamics are super important too. An example of what I've seen recently, during the fancon, Wonbin and Sohee danced to nct dream's Smoothie side by side. Wonbin's moves were really wide and accentuated, but it ended up looking like his arms were flaying about, and Sohee while not having wide movements looked so much better. It's about the control and angle too. And then you should see Shotaro dancing to Smoothie, his control was impeccable. Basically, wide does not mean better, there are so many things to it.

It’s true that Wonbin is the center because of his skills and his ability to attract people’s attention not because his height. It’s really rude and low when you bring someone down to make your bias shine better. My favorite member is Wonbin but I also think Shotaro is the best dancer in Riize. However, anyone can have their own oppinion so for this video you can leave comment but please do not make into a war. For your info, in Exo the center is Kai who is tall.
