I wish if the indian dance reality shows promoted such dances rather than western ones...Anyways,Odissi is a pure form in itself,enchanting,mesmerizing. It doesn't need any promotion. It is eternal.

Odissi dance western odisha mein hota toh bht acha hota, mere jaisa bahut log honge joh chahta hue bhi nai sikh paye,as becoz we dont have odissi schools in our area or nearby area,now my time is gone and from childhood wat I was willing to dance did not make it happen, now I only watch others dancing. So those who have learnt, its God's grace and also their luck.

Odisha speaks hindi I was not aware I thought odisha has its own classical language called Odia which also is the official language of the state!
