Cook-Out's barbeque sandwich is my absolute favorite fast food item. With slaw and hot sauce of course! Best bang for the buck fast food I've ever had.

We have Jack's here as a local and throughout Alabama but it's nothing to write home about. They had a great 15 cent hamburger when I was growing up, many many years ago
Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles was a started in Los Angeles. The family that started the restaurant sold it to a restaurant consortium a few years ago. People have said ever since that the food's quality has gone down.
Golden Chick, chicken strips 😋 are so good , never knew it, until one day it was the only game in town in Austin, Texas. The world stood still after the first bite.
"Taco Cabana" had a store in Killeen, TX for several years before I realized they were saying "Cabana" and not "Banana." A few guys from a friend of mine's AT Company shot up a Wotta Burger with shotguns without hurting anyone in 1991, right after the Gulf War. My friend was relieved no one was hurt and concerned about the marksmanship training in the company.

Bojangles has made it out of the south. They are in Pennsylvania and even though technically, Maryland is south of the Mason-Dixon line, we all know they are not truly southern. Hell, half of Florida really isn't southern, actually it is the southern half that isn't.

The original Cook-Out in Greensboro, NC is the best. Love there foot long chili dogs, there chili base is much better than our famous chili chains down here and, that’s saying a lot for one of the bigger life long chili chain lovers, not until, I ate at Cook-Out did, I eat anyone else’s chili dogs. My brother lived in Greensboro at the time, and, well made trips to Cook-Out quite frequently. Loved What-A-Burger, I only got to eat at Zaxby’s once, would like to see some of these chains be closer to where, I live. Never heard or got to eat at that fried Chicken Place, when, I was in Texas but, please, I hope our Kentucky Fried Chicken closes up and, that fried chicken chain can be ushered in to this small Southern Indiana town. The Waffle House Chains are much better down South and, the ones down South are more friendlier and, the waitress and, the cook take the time to make sure they give you your food is made to order the way you want, no kidding. Waffle Houses in Indiana, some aren’t all that great.
I once ate at a Whataburger in El Paso and it was good, but I have yet to try their new location near me in Georgia, mainly because it is far too busy. The other familiar chains here are Waffle House and Zaxby's, where I go for chicken fingerz (that's what they call them) which I dip in Zax Sauce, which isn't spicy at all.
@@juanita_rocksteady2761 In Houston we have a Slim Chickens which is out of Fayetteville, AR. I go there occasionally. I generally like it better than Raising Cane’s and Zaxby’s due to sauce selection, including gravy.
I saw the biggest turd ever in a Pal's Sudden Service bathroom. I'm not even joking it was freaking HUGE. It was sticking out the water like a ship wreak.
