there are a lot of people complaining about sides on reddit. What is ur opinion regarding this? Are grey market platforms like minoxidilmax selling junk?
It's the same as those people that pay to look like Ken-doll or barbie whatever. The clinic will go "You probably shouldn't do that but if we won't do it, you'll just go to another clinic and do it anyway, so sign here please".
I know very little about this but his natural hair might fall of with time and then he needs to fill in what he lost to not look crazy with a huge gap, right?
yeah, half of the lenght on the forehead would be already a VERY good and juvenile hairline, guy went caveman mode and didn't fill the temporals on the sides. Wasted potential.
The lack of temporal points is making it look strange. Usualy people with that low of a hairline have very strong temporal points, his are nonexistant. He doesn't have the chin to balance the hairline as well, but the effect of the HT from a pure end result kind of way is superb. Looks dense and like zero grafts were wasted, could very well be a poster for the clinic.
It actually looks surprisingly ok, however no clinic should ever agree to lower a hairline this much. I also don't think it would look good as he ages. It's flat out body dysmorphia.
It looks in some way a little bit strange, like a helmet on the head, BUT I would prefer to look like that, than having a bald head and looking like a cancer patient, I would do anything to have a head full of hair like this!
If he styles his hair down, it'll be okay. But if he tries any hairstyle that shows the hairline, he's finished. It looks horrendous. That clinic should be stopped.
Honestly they did a great job considering what the guy requested of them. It looks just like how it did with the toupee, which is what he wanted. Sure, if he went with a hairline an inch higher it could have been an absolutely perfect HT procedure. but that's not what he wanted.
DO NOT move grafts from the scalp to the eyebrows. Eyebrows grow to a short length, whereas scalp hair grows much longer. IT WON'T LOOK NATURAL. THE SAME RULES APPLY TO MOVING SCALP HAIR TO BEARD. the only reason why people use beard hair for the scalp is to add the illusion of density in the crown, but it is still an illusion and shouldn't be used as a primary resource for coverage.
I used to think this too, but it turns out your entire skull is covered in muscular tissue, its just that you can only move the facial ones. The reason doctors usually don’t go too low is because it would look unnatural for your hairline to move with your facial expressions, not that it cant be transplanted where muscle is.
The 3rd and 4th won't work either. Red light therapy is a complete scam. My wife works for the company that makes the light bulbs for most of these companies. She says they are nothing more than a red light bulb. Not a laser at all. You'd get the same results by standing in front of red Christmas lights.
For your eyebrows try using s tretinoin/minoxidil compound to promote growth. Helps minoxidil non responders tremendously. Just gotta keep the skin hydrated and use a sun screen or you will damage your skin if you're in the sun alot.
I went here 4 months ago. They are a good clinic, they do advise equal thirds for the hairline but they are also willing to do patient requests which is why I went here and this video was the reason I went. My hairline naturally was three fingers high, but the first transplant doctor I went to at another clinic gave me hairline 4 fingers high and wouldn’t let me go any lower because of “equal thirds”, now on someone else that would look perfect however on me it looked odd and not how my hairline was naturally and meant I had my hair down all the time. So I don’t agree with the equal thirds because that isn’t the case for everyone as head shape and face shapes are different and genetics etc so one size fits all doesn’t work. I have a long head/face, my thirds are really big, my forehead has always been small. When I raised my eyebrows my first transplant hairline was way higher than the top wrinkle of my forehead. So far mine is growing and I will see how it is in the next month or 2 how it is. I plan to box cut it from the front like drake. I have very thick hair and above average donor and still have enough for another transplant or 2 and lots of beard hair, my beard goes quite low on my neck (near Adam’s apple) I do agree this isn’t the best use of grafts and the hairline is too low and dense at the front but I give the clinic credit for fulfilling the dream and request of the patient, he wanted it to look just like his toupee, he is happy with it and it will be his responsibility what happens down the line
I cannot control my laughter after seeing his hairline.guess the technician who did the surgery was drunk. Ha ha... Pls post his videos after a decade to see how he has progressed. Just assume full of hair in his forehead and a balding crown... 🤣
originally the guy looks good, im already balding so, idk if imma get into Hair transplants since i feel like after surgery you still have to keep adding minoxidil and pills to keep it going for long time.
Don't do microblading on your eyebrows mate. Yeah they will look full but you'll end up looking feminine. Your brows are perfectly fine. If you want more thickness, use a powerful eyebrow serum instead and apply it every night, give it 4 to 6 weeks and you're good. A good eyebrow comb also does wonders.
Hi Aaron, Had my procedure with with Dr. Acar first, after I sent my pictures. The online consultant told me about 3500. When I reach the clinic he checked everything and I ended up with a 4750 graftsI was only Norwood 3 it was a two days session. I think it was average I don’t have anyone to compare. I am thinking of second procedure. Any other doctor suggestions? I was leaning toward dr. Serkan Aygins any other suggestions for a good hairline and temporal doctor. Thx
Do NOT go to Serkan Aygin. He doesn't work there and hasn't for 7 years. You will be assigned a random "doctor" once you fly in and pay your deposit. You can get seriously botched there. It's a hair mill.
Maybe his thought process behind the increased amounts of grafts/ plugs is to take up for recession overtime. So he invetabky never has to worry about 1 again lmao 🤣
I have a unpopular opinion here but, this guy made a absolutely TERRIBLE decision to get it this low, but i have to push back on the "clinic shouldent have allowed it" argument, because at the end of the day, it matters what the patient wants, and i know this because i have a very high hairline from birth and im about to go to istanbul to get a hairtransplant which is low with temples, a natural low tho, but it seems to be popular for guys to get a very slight change in hairline and thats not what i want, im not spending money and traveling far just to have a slight change, so the doc will try to give me a small change with no temples and i will refuse that, i want as low as naturally possible with temple work and of course they will not reccomend that but thats okay, refusing to do my transplant would not be right, because its my decision to use that many graphs for a slightly unnatural hairline for my head shape
I went hmr almost 2 years ago. They did an ok job. I got 2800 grafts, and im on finasteride. But, I have about 20- 25 doubles on my hairline that needs to be corrected. Hopefully by December of this year I get it fixed. Im heading to india to get it fixed at Eugenix with Dr. Sethi or Dr. Bansal. They are the best of the best. I did see Dr. Sethi in Los Angeles when he did his USA tour. I really shouldve gone with them in the first place. Do you research before you decide. Hey man I just got my hair transplant today & I think overall it looks good but I feel like my hairline starts higher than where the lines were drawn. Do you think it may appear lower once I get the final results or should I actually be concerned
@John Schmidt My surgeon did me like that too, I even called him out on that during the procedure .he just told me he had the whole top to fill and just wait to see how that looks first before I get one line lower .I never went back 4 FUT's was enough for me .I just drape it down when I grow my hair long .it got fuller after using minoxidil, anti androgen, and finasteride
I'm guessing that his main motivation was that he liked how people were responding to him with his toupee on, so he wanted to make the look permanent. It's also possible that he overheard women talking about men's hairlines so he decided that giving himself the lowest hairline he could would help him be more competitive in the dating world. I personally don't even care about being bald, the only reason I would do anything about it would be so that women would like me more and nobody could make fun of me about it...but I would never go this low, it's disgusting and ridiculous.
