Not the best president. Perhaps just second to his father. The younger marcos does not understand issues as in depth as his father did. What both of them are lacking is the political shrewdness that other presidents have/had particularly other president's actions taken against destabilizers and potential destabilizers

I thought I’ never say this but … Heydarian says a lot of sense… that probably one of the reasons for inviting PBBM to deliver the key note address is so that those ASEAN member nations who wouldnt want to be seen as against China in the West Phil Sea issues, could have a way of airing their opinion yet not publicly, through PBBM. Pres. Marcos Jr. delivered a very powerful speech and we should all be very proud of him. This analyst seems to downplay that. He even tries so hard to sound with an American accent which is disgusting. He kept yapping like a dog which I can barely understand. I saw his comments about a year ago and this guy is biased and anti-Marcos. The credibility of this guy is questionable.
He was sidelined before. He was now enlightened and he did not disagree but agrees on what PBBM said. Please give him a chance. We always change for the better and what is important is, we acknowledge what is good for the country. Awright!

Besides, Phil. not like China draw an imaginary line in SCS and claim as their own territory, But Phil. territory is inscribe by international law (UNCLOS) and determined permanently by Hague decision on 2016.

It's not exactly accurate to say that it's imaginary. Do some research. The nine dash line claim started in 1947. The UNCLOS came out in the 1980's. In 1947, the US, Japan and the Philippines didn't oppose the nine dash line of China. Thus, it's not imaginary. Fact is, it precedes the UNCLOS by more than 30 years.

It's the policy of the state that the highest official of the land must defend the country. As far as performance is concerned i agree that the current president fares well than his predecessor. At least PBBM is very vocal on his stand and his pivot towards US is a welcome shot.

Then come 1999 with limited resources my government managed to deliberately ground a WWII ship BRP Sierra Madre to establish our presence there. It is our EEZ.
