- Singapore Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said at the Shangri-La Dialogue on Sunday (Jun 2) that the US and China do not need a third party to help iron out their relationship woes. He also spoke about how China has learnt and adapted to Western-style forums and dialogues where the questioning is more direct.

Taiwan has become a economical international neccity to the world and Taiwan accomplished this under a Democratic Free market or even capitalist government and Taiwan has never lived under a communist government before, most of the world will respond to a attack on Taiwan, therefore reunification can only be acquired with full autonomy for Taiwan under a 1 China policy.
It don't matter what Taiwan accomplished. Taiwan legally belong to China and all the Chinese people. You can't have 23 million people who live in Taiwan decide for all 1.4 billion Chinese. Not in a democratic system not in a communist system. Some times I think that people in Taiwan thinks of themselves as Royalty where 23million decides for 1.4 billion.
Perhaps the communist government of China should hold a free and fair judgement election regarding do the people of A 1 China want to be ruled and govern By a communist government are a Democratic government voted in by the people, is one way to peacefully reunification of a one China policy

I wish the IISS organizers will take only 1 question at a time. There were good questions during the time of the Defense Minister of China but he wasn’t able to answer most of them. He used his time not to answer other issues.
