It all depends on why he's tall. He probably didn't have a tumor on his pituitary gland, so he wouldn't have had the litany of health complications that come with that.
My Bond growing up, God bless them both ❤.... By the way, in The Spy Who Loved Me when the Lotus Esprit is coming out of the sea on to the beach, you can see a little boy pointing to the car.... That's actually Richard Kiel's son.❤❤
My fave too. A genuinely lovely guy. All the people on set loved working with him, a true gentleman. Wow, he's 6'2"! and standing next to Richard he looks tiny!
I remember this giant of a man as a kid, so this is who he is. I’ve never heard him speak what a treat this is, thank you so much. He is incredible character in the movies
Good to see theses two gentlemen again! I'm 69+.and still remember seeing Mr. Kiel as Voltaire, henchman to evil genius Dr. Loveless on "The Wild, Wild West" That was 1965! In the 1990s I saw an interview on Christian television, enjoyed seeing what a nice man he was! ( BTW, he did work as a bouncer)! Knew Sir Roger as "The Saints') Simon Templar long before he as James Bond! RIP, both of you! Blsgs, gg
Bring back the camp and the ridiculousness in Bond films. It all got so serious and all those action genre movies, be it Bond, Bourne, Mission Impossible, they’ve all just blurred into the same thing. Who can tell the difference anymore?
My favourite James Bond movie of the Roger Moore era is the spy who loved me its two hours of pure escapism and entertainment. Unfortunately today's films tend to take themselves a bit too seriously.
I grew up watching the James Bond with Roger Moore, so he's my preferred JB actor. From the few interviews of Richard Kiel I watched, he seemed genuinely nice / funny. RIP to both of them 🙏❤️🩹
My favorite 007 movie not because it was the best but because it was the first I ever seen as a boy in the movie theater. I can watch it over and over again.
The punishment Richard Kirl had to put up w/ by having those metal teeth in his mouth (which he said was very painful) yet was still able to put in a great performance to me is very impressive. I loved how he was able to be very funny in Happy Gilmore.
Oh Jeez I remember him in HG!, he was brilliant! One of Happy's fans chasing Shooter McGavin after he tried to steal Happy's trophy shirt ... You could tell by the way he ran that his stature alone must have caused him a lot of discomfort throughout his life. Richard and Roger RIP
My Sister and I skipped school on two occasions....once to see Grease and the other to see Moonraker.....our elementary ,middle school was next to the Mall....and you could get away with a lot of scofflaw.....back then 😅....Roger Moore era was my James Bond..mid.70s into mid 80s.....miss alot of the eras.
I was a baggage handler at one of the hotels in Las Vegas and I saw Jaws coming down the ramp to the entrance in an oversized black power chair with the sticker 007 on it. I knew exactly who he was when I saw him. I put him in a taxi and I drove his power chair, which was huge to the storage room.
Roger was the best bond because he understood it was a joke. He also made it feel special. Light, fun.
Two absolute legends, Richard was such a gentle soul.
❤😊😊
It's amazing. Usually people who are about as tall as Richard don't live very long. But he lived to be in his 70s being 7'2"
That's because Richard Kiel started out in life as a Kanamit and followed the Kanamit diet. ;-)
Were those the aliens in "To Serve Man" on "The Twilight Zone"?

Loved him in happy Gilmore 😂

Such a gorgeous guy!
Loved him, humour when needed, serious when needed
He was the best
Mine too!
My fave too. A genuinely lovely guy. All the people on set loved working with him, a true gentleman.
Wow, he's 6'2"! and standing next to Richard he looks tiny!
Richard Kiel always seems the nicest guy.
Those were the fun Bond times. Roger and Richard worked well together. I didn't realise Roger was 6ft 2". Richard is a a big guy
Yeah, that surprised me, but also Roger standing next to Richard, Richard was a giant!
If roger was 6 2 then Richard looks about 8,2.

My thoughts also
"He is tall, isn't he?"
Talk about an understatement.
I just thought it strange how they talked about him like he wasn't even there!
Roger Moore and Richard Kiel will surely be missed.
Richard Kiel looks like he should have been a bodyguard
I met Richard Kiel once in Barking he was signing autographs, he was a really nice guy.
Thank you for the memories growing up, these two gentlemen sure did provide some quality entertainment.
The best bond. Back when it was fun
I remember this giant of a man as a kid, so this is who he is. I’ve never heard him speak what a treat this is, thank you so much. He is incredible character in the movies
'You know him?'
'Not socially... his name's Jaws... he kills people '
Roger Moore was always my favorite Bond.
I loved the moore bond's, loved the humour mixed in with seriousness

True, that's why a lot believe Timothy Daltons bond failed, he was way too serious
Richard Kiel versatile actor and great sense of humor
Brilliant ...I loved the way jaws then fell on love with the woman who was about 5 foot.....lovely moment
A great era , a little bit of fun introduced into the series at the time and a pair of legends. RIP to both of them
Roger was an absolute gem of a human being.
Richard was a lovely man
Ahhhhhh Roger, my favorite James Bond. Haven't seen you in a long time.
Richard Kiel was the prototypical gentle giant.
He would easily kill a man with a punch I bet.
The best Bond ever!
I liked both of them. They had this coyote always missing the roadrunner theme which I always enjoyed in each movie with them. Legends for sure
It's all the shredded wheat he ate, three at every sitting ! And a spoon !
Roger really is charming!
The best Bond….by far.
Great interview. You can see the respect they have for one another.
My favourite James Bond movie of the Roger Moore era is the spy who loved me its two hours of pure escapism and entertainment. Unfortunately today's films tend to take themselves a bit too seriously.
Jaws always scared the shit out of me as a kid.
They made some memorable movies
The Outfit's Roger Moore Is Timeless.RIP Commander Bond ❤
Two wonderful people RIP Roger/Richard💎
"...and you can count on me waiting for you in the parking lot!"
-Mr. Larson
I will never forget him in the movie Pale Rider and him getting on the horse yelling " Ice ".
Best bond and villain ever!!!! 👍❤️👍❤️
Richard Kiel spoke at Second Baptist in Houston and was so gracious. I loved him in Happy Gilmore
I grew up watching the James Bond with Roger Moore, so he's my preferred JB actor.
From the few interviews of Richard Kiel I watched, he seemed genuinely nice / funny.
RIP to both of them 🙏❤️🩹
Jesus Christ Richard Kiel was a giant ! Richard Kiel and Rodger Moore seemed like really sweet men !
The perfect bond between these two greats❤
He did ham the voice up Roger Moore...he wasn't even that posh...genuine legend
He was a big friendly giant and a great character
My favorite 007 movie not because it was the best but because it was the first I ever seen as a boy in the movie theater. I can watch it over and over again.
Love you Richard. THANK YOU
The goat of bond villains
Moore is my Bond, just like Baker is my Doctor and Keaton is my Batman
Any bond is good stuff I love it all never a dull moment
Best Bond imo. LALD was just epic.
Legend says that a few years after this, he would start a band called Type O Negative.
The punishment Richard Kirl had to put up w/ by having those metal teeth in his mouth (which he said was very painful) yet was still able to put in a great performance to me is very impressive. I loved how he was able to be very funny in Happy Gilmore.

Ohhh boohoo fucking hooo. He was paid alot abd will be remembered in film forever. Some people clean toilets for a living
First time ive heard Richard keiks voice
Absolutely legendary. Both of them. You made bond history
Growing up this was the best Bond and best bad guy, saying Richard is tall seriously states the obvious. Back when film stars were anazing, God bless.
“Your ball struck my foot!”
Thank God he's given gentle natures to some of these massive guys, or we'd be in trouble. Kiel, Andre, Duncan..all easy going.
Saw Moonraker when I was nine.It was the best!
Slapstick bond era 😂
Two best bond characters
My favourite Bond he's the one I grew up with
Brilliant footage!
Great Bond film. ❤
In my opinion he was the best bond i grew up in the roger Moore era....so yep he was the best....My Name is Bond ....James Bond.......
Jaws & Roger were the best.
Roger's immovable eyebrows😂😂😂😮😮😮
Thats Mr. Gilmores Jacket!!!
Tarantino on growth hormone.
Yes I agree, there is a facial resemblence with Kiel 👍
Worked on a movie “So Fine” w Richard! He was lovely to everyone .. even the extras!!
Roger moore and sean connery best bond actors ever..👊👊👊
Richard awesome, and Roger Moore was great in cannonball run as well funny
Best bond villain ever

Would love to see more of this.
That's real Kool y'all, if only I had a big brother like that.
"And you can count on me..... waiting for you in the parking lot". *crowd oooohs*
Both RIP !!
The Bond I grew up on makes him the fave by default.
...and before CERN,the girl also had a mouthful of metal when she smiled back at Jaws.
Best bond by far .
Richard was great!!
I would never have thought Roger Moore was 6'2"!
Moore and Connery were the absolute best Bonds bar none
The spy who loved me, one of the top 3 all time Bond movies for me. Goldfinger is in there also.
Jaws was one of if not the best villains of any movie. Great charisma for a baddie.
I grew up with Jaws being my big baddie i never wanted to meet, he was scary until Moonraker.
Saw this at the drive in theater under the night stars
Jaws is a legend dude and he was Mr Larsson too!!
Best bond movie in my opinion
Roger was the best 007 imo
In another life we could be friends ❤
NOT ONE DAMNED HAPPY GILMORE REFERENCE!!!! C'MON PEOPLE!!! HE HELPED MAKE THAT MOVIE!!!
Jaws was an iconic villain in the 007 movie!
My favorite bond was with jaws
He had a shirt ( as a joke ) that said "guns dont kill people ...... I kill people. " 😂
"And you can count on me waiting for you in the parking lot ! " 👉🏼
Richard Kiel even played in Roustabout with Elvis
Best Bond.
