- The University of Florida is telling students what they can and can’t do if they want to protest on campus, and rulebreakers among students and faculty will face harsh penalties, according to information being shared on campus this week.

A friend of my wife lost her granddaughter at that concert - murdered (and possibly raped - my wife's friend doesn't like to talk about it).

Funny thing, but science clearly demonstrates that (1) Israel was the nation in existence up to the removal by Romans after the Bar Kokba (sp?) revolt around 1900 years ago, (2) while the Romans took a majority of Jews and sold them into slavery in punishment for the rebellion, there were still towns and villages that remained and are still in existence today, (3) towns and villages in "contested territories" have been Jewish all along - including ones completely eliminated in more recent years, and (4) the name "Palestine" was applied by Rome to try to erase the existence of Israel. From what I know of Roman thinking of the time, I suspect the authorities thought that slavery would erase Judaism and turn the Jews "Roman", but it didn't. They didn't understand the power of privately held cultural practices and beliefs to help a culture to survive (it was changed due to the influence of being slaves (in many areas) from the removal to modern times.
The "Cease Fire" calls are started and encouraged by Hamas, which has only one real goal - REAL GENOCIDE. That's another thing - what has happened in Gaza isn't genocide and it is truth that the IDF is trying their best to avoid civilian deaths.
If the protestors really care about Palestinian civilians, they MUST start calling for Hamas to surrender and to stop trying to kill Jews (and Palestinians) and lying to the gullible. BTW - I might add that the rulers of Palestine supported Hitler including the calls for killing Jews.
This information can be found both in archaeological research as well as historical - and they both triangulate to what I'd posted here.
