If you want to be unemployed take mechanical engineering. Unless you are from IIT or NIT, don't take Mechanical. Even in NIT, IIT, mechanical engineers ultimately end up in CS companies. Of he will praise mechanical Engineering, because he took mechanical Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering. Seriously. A lot of students including me waste their academic time in preparing entirely different things. Instead in the beginning years you should focus on getting your foot strong in your course. Revise and rerevise your courses. Study every thing first according to GATE standard. Then in free time, you can learn extra stuff that MIT, Harvard teaches. Do courses in thirdish year. Because in the beginning years you won't have time to wander if you are honest in your preparation. And one thing, focus on fundamentals.

Mechanical Engineering. Seriously. A lot of students including me waste their academic time in preparing entirely different things. Instead in the beginning years you should focus on getting your foot strong in your course. Revise and rerevise your courses. Study every thing first according to GATE standard. Then in free time, you can learn extra stuff that MIT, Harvard teaches. Do courses in thirdish year. Because in the beginning years you won't have time to wander if you are honest in your preparation.
And one thing, focus on fundamentals.

Hi, it was very good interactive session, the questions that were arising as the video was progressing were aptly asked and answered; one question I have was (1) how the student managed to prepare for tech whether thru RUclips or any online courses and (2) if he could have referred online portals would have been helpful
