You gave a great point about chosen family. The family we choose will always be stronger than a biological family because they’ve earned our loyalty, love, trust and place in our lives. Since we're talking about kid's shows now I'd like to point attention to my son's favorite show "numberblocks" (which I have to say is fantastic for learning math) I feel like there's something weird going on when the numberblocks combine and seperate. Theory: over the many seasons of icarly, the crew has done a fair amount of not very legal things that could have gotten them in a lot more trouble than they should, stealing, breaking an entering, sending a doorman to the hospital. How many years would the icarly gang have to serve by all the crimes they committed?
They built an unlicensed nuclear reactor in a residential building in one episode and that kinda made the guy keeping track of icarly crimes just throw up his hands and give up. That’s a “put away forever” kind of offense.
Actually, it wasn’t the construction of the reactor that was “put away forever” illegal so much as it combined with the theft of the parts. It was just in general a sort of shark jumping moment in terms of icrimes.
