Indeed Japanese people are shy, True Indian people are open minded .
Yes we asked it to our friends who is new to us or just became our friend
When I changed my school my classmates asked me such questions and I also asked them it is common

Low Key Japan いいえ、それでわありません。We live in the present. Every moment is precious. Rather than plan and set future appointments with fixed schedules, we hangout and celebrate without worrying about formalities. At the end of your lives, formalities doesn’t count. The precious memories you made do.

I always wanted to knw wat Japanese mindset is like as an Indian it's fascinating to knw abt different cultures as India n Japan are entirely opposite. We are trying to work hard we need to change alot of things n we have hope for future . Difference is embedded in our cultural wisdom. N yes India is quite philosophical the deep spiritual side whether we follow or not its embedded in our culture. Indians are curious n very expressive we share n express alot questions are quite common . We are complex ppl n weird for outsiders. India has quite a gud amount of nice ppl n many not so nice one. U should experience different states in India especially himachal n Northeast n many more u can also relish different types of food wic are not so spicy we have wide variety . I hope u have better experience next time.indians have collective respect for Japan .😊

Yes, it's pretty normal to asked about your life goal or dream by an Indian colleague, friend or anyone who you talk with because it gives an indication to the person about does the listener's wavelength match with him/her & he/she can proceed with that topics so that both of them don't get bored & get more comfortable with each other on the forward run over the time.

People like you who put western standards for success in. a multicultural country like India is totally wrong. India is great today, it was great before the mughal plundereres, it defeated the colonial british exploiters and is now a free, vibrant democracy with huge diversity, and instead of 500 small kingdoms, we are all united into 1. If that isnt incredible, I dont know what your standards are. Though I agree with your last sentence, we shall continue to work hard, but we are indeed a miracle in itself, although there are some drawbacks too, but still, India is incredible

Hey I love your videos usually I don't comment much but I wanted to ask a question....is Japan culturally more Western or Eastern? I mean I know that Japan is an Eastern country but I'd like to know the Western influence on Japanese culture as in case of India the culture is mostly mixed still more indigenous than Western :)
8:30 regarding the philosophical questions yeah we also ask the direct questions related to each other. Like how I'm curious to seek the purpose of my life so I also ask questions like what is Life's purpose, the purpose of Greed, etc. to many people it's more like our habit :)

As I'm a girl if someone like aunty or another girl sits besides me, I start talk by questions. Instead of sitting quietly on place like someone has put cellotape on your mouth, it's better why not to talk Right? You can say simple way to interact.

When people plan to do something like hanging out and stuff. We just ditch at the last moment and it's not a big deal for us. We're just too damn lazy to get out of the house. It's just normal for us and from a Japanese person's standpoint, it's a bad thing.
Small businesses in India always try to rip off foreigners AND the locals. They don't discriminate in scamming.
When Indian people are asked for directions, we just say, "yeah, it's over there. Just go straight and left and blah blah". We don't want to look stupid and that's why we just give misdirections. Most of the time people know the directions but not all the time. This is normal for us too.
Plus, we don't have any tipping culture. Nobody gives tips.
I live in Rajasthan and and I'm used to the heat so I won't have any problems in any part of the world.
P.S: Rajasthan is not a desert.
