- By far the loudest car I have ever heard, this insane Bonneville racecar inside the Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX.
1953 Stydebaker 2-Door Hardtop owned by Dale Ross and Leo Sands of Montgomery, TX
My dad was the original builder & owner of this awesome beauty, and we ran her to 2 records at Bonneville when she was The Guam Bomb. This is the first time I've seen & heard the improvements that have been made since we sold her & WOWSERS! She was always impressive, but continues to astound!
That sounded like an artillery barrage! Beautiful!
Be still my heart!
HOLY FUCK THE STARTUPS AND THE FLAMES
Same body but I believe this one was a 53 or 54 starliner.
Damn. Straight pipes are crazy. Just out of curiosity, what engine is in that? Did it start life as a silver hawk?
Silver Hawks were made in 1957.
alex... you weren't scared...
..... Crap, this year, 2022, I sold my 1953 Studebaker Champion... Flathead 6, 3 speed manual... Four door ... But still maintained a near look to the two door ...
... But, what was I thinking ? My '53 disappeared down the road, never to be enjoyed by me again ...
.. Mumble.. Grumble.. Mumble.. 😵💫 .. 🤔 .. 🧐 Sigh !
