First recorded by Wynn Stewart in L.A. around 1961 and still the definitive version. Written by well known songwriter Eddie Miller who wrote "Release Me" among many others.
Surrounded by such great musicians, I would have expected an arrangement with more emphasis on the "bridge" vocally speaking, whereas the melody seems to become a little uncertain, with less "authority", as Jeff Newman would say, when insisting on assurance. In the main verses, the voice is unsteady at times, sometimes sharp or flat. I have listened to Ms. Murray on record and the vocals were steady. Perhaps it's fatigue or the last song of a long set. Apart from the title, the song has little to commend it. I'm sorry. I enjoy Ms Murray's music generally
Great song Thanks for sharing!
Fiery performance by a fiery looking Gal.
Another great singer that sings Real Country Music!!!
Genuinely enjoyable. She has good rapport with the audience and the band.
She sang "She did this to me", one of my favorites.
Bobby Flores on fiddle was great!
She sings pretty and she looks pretty too!
Awesome job Kimberly!!! Great song!!
I have got wall to wall heartaches!

A mediocre singer with poor range, nowhere near as good as Heather Myles or Amber Digby.
