- I didn't expect to feel awful during entry to the Caribbean countries. Barbados however wasn't pleasant. But we move on and keep going.

Its a lot of BS, if you have a ticket to leave they should not force you to buy a flight home its terrible. Write the Prime Minister Mia Mottley and complain. She is very nice. I think you met a jealous officer. They jealous you for travelling because they probably never left the island.

My dear Miss Phillis. I am confused what happened to you at Barbados immigration department within the airport. Did they not see that you have been in other nearby Caribbean island nations with your passport stamped properly? OMG. So please explain. Also what else did you do in Barbados and when you do get back home to Kenya, Africa do make a very detailed video of Kenya's tourism. You have a beautiful positive energy and so well educated from the crib by your parents and well mannered. That never leaves you. It speaks wonders about you. All the best.
Thank you for the kind words. They demanded I had to have a return trip to Kenya before they let me in even though I had a forward ticket to another country. The rules are for a forward ticket or a return ticket, so it should have been okay, but the officer I met didn't think so.

@@travel_with_phil hey it wasn't too bad. they asked a few questions and for me to show my onward flights and they let me in.

You do realize that most places look for a return ticket when you travel
Actually most places ask for a return or an onward ticket. As long as you have a valid ticket out of the country, which I had

The same thing happened to African Tigress another kenyan RUclipsr in Jamaica.
Foolish talk. It ain't her colour probably because she is African. Sadly many Africans go to countries and disappear or try to disappear. The islands have to protect their interest. Sadly, Africans have an intitled attitude - not all but many causing issues for true honest African travellers.

awwww that’s so sad. Idk why they did that to you. They need to do better. You should’ve turned right around and got a full refund for that ticket
I did get a refund, actually. I had to because I wasn't going back to Kenya.
