Good info! Does that mean a semi-gloss has even LESS open time than the Satin? Do you lightly sand between coats? Sorry for the questions, I’m just about to do a table with metallic foil on the top

Correct. The more gloss it is, the harder it is to work with. I don't sand between coats but you can. Make sure to use 400 grit or higher. You want to just do that lightly if you sand between coats. Good luck.
