Lew Lehr at beauty parlour - talks to receptionist. Under hair curler; moustache curler; mud mask; hair done. Walks out of salon and tries to step in front of shop queue for cigarettes - gets assaulted. Goes back to beauty parlour with black eye and clothes in a mess asking for another beauty treatment.

Lehr's particular stage accent sounds a lot like Disney's Ludwig Von Drake, especially his jovial "heh!" utterances. I wonder if his comedy was an inspiration for the voice acting for those later cartoon shorts.
