+Ike Carumba, I don't know what you're hearing, but this cover of WAR's, 'Slippin' Into Darkness' totally kills it, and I'm one of WAR's biggest fans. 'Slippin' Into Darkness' is definitely not a weak pop song. It's one of the funkiest, iconic, most sampled, original songs ever created by one of the greatest bands ever put together. A band of brothers called WAR, now called the LOWRIDER BAND. WAR/LOWRIDER BAND is right up there in the musical stratosphere with James Brown, Tower of Power, Sly Stone and any other top shelf performer of that era.
