@noelle wu I didn’t like sun and moon and I was unable to buy the game and play it my self but I do love the music, especially the night themes it is all so lovely
Just turned 18 today and I always loved this song. I listed to it today as a farewell to my childhood but also as a hello to a new chapter. I will forever love Pokémon and continue to listen to this song when I’m feeling down, stressed, or just want to listen to this banger again.
sounds like you've just finished an adventure, but it's time to say farewell to your friends. people still have to say goodbye to their friends and go back to their own home after having fun outside.
I... remember when this game came out. I was in eighth grade and Pokemon was my life. Played this game so, so much. Now I'm almost done with college. I can't believe it's been about eight years since... I honestly lost interest in Pokemon a while ago, but this song brings back some really good memories. Appreciate every moment, because you'll never get it back.
After Sword and Shield this song just makes me want Alola back. Sure these might not be the best entries in the series, but it certainly did push the 3DS to the limit.
What? You can use +800 mons in S/M/US/UM instead of the 300s of Galar. Also it didn't needed two extra Post-game DLC content and you can use both Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves instead of the generic Dynamax. Alola was the sh*t back then, it needs an HD Port on the Switch
@@NCC-0000 Not that I implore them as bad games, it's just that I personally LOVE Heartgold and White over them. Also I wish the story was longer, but IDK because I only owned Sun not Ultra Sun. In the long run, I they can manage to be nostalgic, then they are good games in my book.
I was a late bloomer for Pokémon. Got hooked because of Go when I was 13. Led me to learn more about the mainline games. Sun was the first one I played upon release. I’m 21 now but this already makes me shed a tear.
I'd cry when this song came on because it was the first song I heard with Litten's meow, which reminds of my cat's meow. Every time I think of this song it reminds me that if no one else loves me, I have my kitty, Ollie.
sun/moon will forever hold a special place in my heart. maybe even moreso than x/y. sword/shield just .. didn't feel right. and i haven't gotten the chance to play the new games so i couldn't say anything about them .. i remember the first time i finished moon (the first of the two i played). during the end credits after lillie made her departure i was overcome by emotion, and started crying even. same for x tbh😭 but shield.. the ending wasn't as impactful you know? but, i think that sun/moon are and will always be my favorite gen. the soundtrack is the best in the franchise (imo), the pokemon introduced in the region are all so awesome, the characters and their development, the plot and even the scenery. though it's been a while since i lost my 3ds and my games, it'll be something i never ever forget. though i am relatively young in present day .. i've loved pokemon for almost half of my life so far, and that won't change. as long as the franchise goes back to the magic they once brought to us.
I remember I was in Middle School when these games first came out and now look at me. Graduated High School back in June and wondering what to do with my life.
This game was my first Pokémon game and it helped me get through a low point in my life. The story, the characters, the music, it all felt so joyful and alive, now I can’t go back to those good old days but all of Alola will always have a place in my heart.
When I got my 3DS, I got Pokemon Y with it. Somehow, I lost the game after playing around after I beat the first gym I think. I never got the chance to play a Pokemon game with my brother since I lost it. I was quite down about it, so when Sun and Moon came out, it was the first Pokemon I properly played. But, by the time it came out my brother lost interest in Pokemon so I played myself. Now that I look back on it, I have a bittersweet relationship with Pokemon games, but I could have gotten a second copy of Y if I wanted to. I grew up with Pokemon, watched all the anime, and collected the cards, but went on the hate bandwagon because of the quality of the games, now, I realize I still love Pokemon, I just grew up. The game design shouldn't make you straight out hate Pokemon, that's something that I trapped myself into. I should of not have hated it because my brother did. Thanks for reading, sorry for the rant.
In 2019 i didn't have a phone so i would just put my 2ds under my pillow with my earbuds plugged in so i could listen to this music for hours. Reminds me of the innoncence about life that is somewhat gone now that i'm in college now, and all of my friends (including me are in college or doing whatever) Oh to be a kid again!
lol I legit just stayed there right before you take on the big Kahuna for like an hour listening to this its very peaceful and calming and I tell ya after a long day of work I just listen to this and fall right to sleep lol and I would like to know where could I find music similar to this that would be wonderful.

Mr.Squirt(dumb name, i know, i was 12 and bad at names), my first ever pokemon is forever stuck in Ultra moon. It's been so long since I've played i can't even remember the full team i used to fight Ultra Necrozma or beat the Elite 4 with. I know it's stupid but i feel a bit of guilt that my Primarina will never continue my journey with me:(
Hey, Ik im just a RUclips wanderer, but if you want I have bank and Home premium so I can help you transfer your Primarina up if you like. Idc what anyone says, this gen is very very special. The atmosphere is executed perfectly
So true. Theyre so unique
I feel it’s a very underrated generation

Sun and Moon are the most special and emotional games in the series. They will forever be my favorites.

Thats nice
I know how you feel. Black and white were my first games and hold a very special place in my heart

I'm getting all nostalgic over this and it's a new song lol, it gives me a familiar feeling.
Link-The Legendary Hero
Maybe because it has the same, if not very close, chord progression to dbgt's opening. At least that's how it is for me.
Because the OST of this game is astounding, thats why.
Yeah and reminds md of sinnoh games how about you?

Right up there with the Verndanturf theme. Very peaceful.
