Never sure what happened with Warren. Fits in with Duran perfectly....dress sense, hair (wig)....perfect. Can't help but feel that suddenly shaving you head, wearing a cap the wrong way round, and looking like you don't fit in anymore was a strange move. Nick didn't want the reunion originally or to dump Warren. Shame as they did nothing after PopTrash any good...yet Warren and Nick did a decent album together.
I heard that Warren and Nick became good friends and wanted him to stay. I guess the guys wanted Andy back. I'm confused about why Warren shaved his head, though. Wasn't a good look for DD.
@@clarakirkendoll6061 he had been wearing a wig since the late 80s. If you see him with Missing Persons he had very this hair. Maybe got fed up with wigs.
I've never understood why they kicked Warren out. His era was the best for Duran Duran, very commercial but also very innovative and different. Before he joined they were seen as washed up pretty boys who made lightweight pop fluff. Ordinary World brought them back.
Money, the big mistake of getting the original line up back and thinking Andy was thinking on the same wavelength........and then there's the porn videos Warren made. But yeah he was really treated shabbily considering he kind of saved their career in his home studio..
Warren is very talented but he never really "fit" DD to me. There's some excellent music from that era, but to be completely honest, they have excellent music in every era. Warren a was not the creative force behind Duran Duran. That doesn't mean he didn't contribute, but they certainly didn't need him.
It seems he is just using a setting on the keyboards. I did not see anything special he was using. He was also using a computer for some of the electronic sounds as shown at the end of the song.
@@Buc_Stops_Here No, when he's moving like a robot over that big black thing at the top of his keyboards that is some kind of proximity/movement sound instrument. He's making that kind of squealing noise that goes along with the guitar solo. Not sure what it's called.
@@Buc_Stops_Here No....do you not see that big black thing at the top of his keyboard that he is waving his hand over during the guitar solo when they cut to him? That's what Cato is talking about. I don't know what that particular model is called but he is manipulating the sound by waving his hand over it. There's a lot of devices like that out there. I don't know enough about it to know if that is called a "theremin" or if it's just something similar but that's what the OP is talking about.
Loving the Warren airtime and harmony vocals.
Warren is so hot and dangerously attractive singing choirs...woow
Ele como eu depois que ficamos careca a gramour caiu
Steve Alexander on drums, Wes Wehmiller on bass (this is 1997)
The wonderful controller Nick!!!

@ashmiles oh wow I didn't know that. Thank you
Oh my ...Simon, you never looked so good 😋😁👍💯💋❤️
"Barbarella" is not far from Sixties' psychedelia in terms of being hypnotic and creating new sounds.
Warren, gioiellino, il più carino.
think u for posting this

Because they wanted the original band back and 3 of the 5 members had no interest in working with Warren.
@@nelauren they apparently had no interest in making good, interesting music anymore either.
