In Welsh mythology, corgis are mentioned as the primary method of transportation for fairies. Though to be honest, I expected something to using them as mounts, rather than have a ridiculously long corgi as a train system.

SCP-2952 is based off of Welsh folklore where fairies and elves basically used corgis as horses. Equally interesting is the idea behind SCP-1193. Here's what the author said about it: "So, here's 'what this SCP is doing.' The trick isn't the arm is horrible. The arm is just scary-big, which isn't much of anything on its own. The trick is the phone. Via the phone, whatever's on the end conveys that it's life is just like ours in some respects. In response to that, we can do one of several things: (1) We could believe it's lying. In that case, why does it believe that we're likely to be convinced by its lies? In fact, why is it talking to us at all? It doesn't seem to be actively resisting containment, and it seems to have gotten itself into the predicament it's in (and it's unclear what that is) under its own power. It does not need our help, and if it does, we are unable and unwilling to provide it. This is the least horrible answer. (2) We could believe it's deluded. But in order to be deluded, there must be some sort of reference. Presuming it is what it appears to be, how does it know about ovens and hospitals and cakes? Can it sense the surface? This is the second-least-horrible answer. (3) We could believe that there is a world of ovens, hospitals, and cakes in the center of the Earth, and that somehow a creature with a seventy-kilometer arm can participate meaningfully in this world. The world where this entity is telling the truth is inconceivable. This is the second-most horrible answer, and one of the answers I was hoping people to come to. (4) We could believe that we are somehow wrong about the nature of everything that surrounds us. The world of conventional objects which the being with the arm describes is not subject to the conventional and comprehensible laws we believe it to be. Its dream-logic about ovens and cakes and casts and invulnerability is the way the world works, not a deluded fantasy by a buried giant. The Foundation's attempts to rigorously study it are futile, because reason itself is a bizarre delusion. This is the most horrible answer, and what I'm trying to get at. That's what the barely-disguised contempt by the voice on the other end of the phone is. We could help it climb out of its oven, or get its hand out of the jelly jar, if only we understood a few basic facts about the universe. The same facts which the person who installed the telephone understood to a degree that he thought the arm was unremarkable. And that's the terrible part: how commonplace our misconceptions are, and how desperately wrong our attempts at grasping the nature of the universe have been. TL;DR: The arm isn't horrible. The corgi system is the cutest system I’ve ever seen! The fact that the foundation tried to attack this system was completely an abuse of animals around the world, but at the same time redeem themselves by allowing the right thing to happen to begin with. Welsh mafia: *kidnaps scp director crucifies a scientist who deserved it and messes with builders*. SCP Foundation: yeah we just got beat by 3 centimeter welsh people we'll just classify this as safe
"So long folks." I see what you did there.
Doofenshmirtz invented Scp-001-J The big red button so he can accidentely push it while he explains his evil plan to Scp 682-1 the hard to destory platypus
Yes
Best opening quotable line before talking about the actual SCP since that ‘oh lawd he coming’ line. Thanks for taking about long corgi. I’d like to learn more about Walter, the matter eating rabbit.
Scarlet King proceeds to annihilate earth
A group pf Fae whos commute was disturbed by this takes up arms
Scarlet King is defeated, a message sent across the planes
Earth has it greatest defenders
They might be small

Okay, I wanna give a medal to whoever made CORGI. I wanna have a train like that near my house XD

Kidney stones are usually the result of prolonged (albeit usually mild) dehydration. C.O.R.G.I. may need to have his water intake upped to prevent future kidney stones.
And maintenance should give the goodest floof boi an extra treat every so often.
I can confirm that welsh people do in fact travel the world in a corgi
LOVE these Stories...Genius Writers.... Entertaining Content ..EXTREMELY talented Narrator... Dr. Doofenshmirtz was so on point!!! Keep up the GREAT work SCP EXPLAINED!!!!

I WANT TO HAVE 2952 AS A PET SO BAD! I LOVE CORGIS! AND LOOOOONG DOGS
Great job on the Doofenshmirtz voice, Hunter!
I love the idea of a corgi shrinking you and letting you use them as a transport system. Lol
WOOOOO DOUBLE FEATURE!
It’s kinda nice that the scp foundation got some lash back from the scps they mistreated simply cuz they wanted to contain them, but the scps were willing to forgive
This is now solidified as my favorite SCP explained video simply because of the first 15 seconds of the video
Clearly the hand is supposed to pet the corgi
The one thing that makes this the best video in the series is that Dr. Doofenshmirtz is mentioned, WHATS NEXT SOMONE GONNA MAKE A DOOFENSHMIRTZ SCP
I like that the scp foundation not only has dangerous entities, but good ones as well. Just gives us a little break from all the attacks
