My first car was a 60 American. Dad and I put in a 63 motor and had a Hotrod Rambler. Great handling and comfortable.

Go to a Mecum or Barret Jackson auction and what 53 Vette a mid 50 Hawk costs and then tell me nobody wants one.

My father bought a new Chevrolet every couple of years. The '58 Chevy was an exciting car, but had rusted through metal within a year.

"Glad they're gone" Every car from the '50s is gone. Stupid premise for a topic.
