It's good to see Mindy in all these videos. I know this is a busy time for everyone, and it's good to see you both spending time together. Also, Mindy positively surprises with her comments and her teaching segments about the tudor style.
Thanks Alex and Mindy. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your reviews. It really helps with the decision making process for viewers like me 🙂
Wow, that is awesome, I don't really have any modulars but I feel like this might have to be a must purchase! Being British I love the fact that it is not another North American themed building. The attention to detail is so good. The printed piece in the flat with the sunflower lanyard is so important to people with hidden disabilities. My daughter has autism and relies on her lanyand when out of the house!
@@countrabricksbuildcraze8916 The sunflower lanyard scheme is run in Europe to help those with hidden disabilities. Shops and public institutions know to look out for it. It helps with my daughters confidence when she is out and about. There is a great article on the lego website in the news section.
The sunflower lanyard scheme is run internationally to help those with hidden disabilities. My daughter has autism and relies on her lanyand when out of the house to give her confidence and to help avoid awkward situations. There is a great article on the lego website in the news section all about the collaboration. Lego are doing a great job with inclusion.
This new modular goes straight to my top 5, possibly top 3 favourite modulars! Am loving h the Tudor style and I hope they do more European architecture in the modular line.
Thank you for this review. When I first saw this modular I felt it didn't fit in with the others but it's really starting to grow on me now. The building looks good, and I like all the details and the minifigs included. Like you Alex I think it is weird the cat-lady has to walk through the clock workshop to get to her appartment, but I am sure that could be fixed by adding a small internal wall if needed. I will get this for my collection (have bought every modular since I started collecting when the Firehouse came out) so I will get this too (even though I am not sure where to place it). But I might not get it on January 1st, will have to see how the finances are when the christmas shopping is done.
The interior is amazing and I cannot wait to get my hands on this. The desk lamp in the clockshop is almost identical to what I use while building legos.
With so many colored pieces and techniques introduced over the years I feel these 2 cant be compared! In my eyes Tudor corner looks like the best modular ever made up till now!!!
I've actually been in old buildings like this, and the top floor is usually the shop owners apartment - based on the Clock makers age, I'll go with it being his daughter...
Your review has changed my mind on this modular. I really like the inside detail the most. There go most of my hard earned retirement dollars again! The points I have saved are for the botanicals. Maybe I’ll get the modular when there are double points or when I have FOMO for the GWP. 😊
So, I'm starting to think of this as The Alex & Mindy Show (like Bricking News with Alex and Jason). I love the playful fun vibe Mindy always brings. Long ago BrickTsar had Mrs. BrickTsar on his channel and she even had her own channel for a while (on nutrition, etc). The Mindy Channel coming soon? The Tudor looks amazing -- I'm running "one behind" on modulars so I'll need to get The Natural History Museum next -- but great new modular to look forward to. This is the first review I've seen -- so thanks guys.
Wow you are fast!! I want to know if the Tudor stairs lineup with the Parisian restaurants stairs, since the stairs would bind with eachother perfectly in location
This looks great and lovely to see you both! It's a very British design of building that still exist 😁 not one for me as I don't have a city but I look forward to seeing it enter the new look city when as the rebuild progresses 😁
Thank you Alex and Mindy. A very pleasant review. Not what I was expecting from the leaks I had heard, but looks excellent. Possibly one that I will be buying on release as the GWP looks great too.
I have a similar reaction to this set as the Brick Bank. It's not quite as small but like BB it is a corner set with a strangely coloured building on its extreme right face. Like the BB but even moreso, I think the design of the main building is fantastic. It is just so beautiful; for me, it's the most exciting modular building since Assembly Square and the Corner Garage. I think that I will do with it what I did with BB - for that set I built the standard configuration and then wanted a bank with an additional floor so it actually looked grand instead of a mini-me bank, and I wanted to get rid of the laundromat. It took 3 sets to build my new, taller bank (I bought 5, one for the original configuration, one to keep unopened - I have every modular both built and unopened). For this one, it won't be necessary to add a new layer so I will "only" purchase 4 sets - one for the original configuration and 2 for the configuration minus the blue building and one to keep unopened). (I had a similar idea for Police Station - loved the central building hated the small side builds - but didn't get the additional sets in time. This time I won't delay.) Lego is quite sneaky about reducing plastic in modulars. They began it with Parisian Restaurant and Detective's Office - the stairs on the side and outdoor back part of PR, the one shorter half of DO. And then with BB they had a baby modular, with Palace Theatre the roof is purely facade. Since then the only full-size modulars have been Assembly Square and Corner Garage (although even it does cut corners!). Even last year's expensive modular on 1.5 baseplates cheats by missing a whole floor. This year's sneak is to copy Parisian Restaurant but with less credibility, in having stairs on the side so as to remove the need to brick right to the boundary.
Actually, despite the smaller visible size from the exterior they are increasing in total plastic. Police Station is heavier than town hall (the heaviest of the early Modulars), and Boutique hotel is close. This is because there are lots of modulars (like this one) with 2 stud width walls now, and highly detailed interiors that feature interior walls.
Thanks, good overview. The interior is awesome. I’m not in love with the exterior, maybe because it’s a new direction in architecture (not the first time they’ve done that). Or, perhaps it looks contracted optically-I’m glad you showed the size is reasonably standard. Anyhow, I’m sure it will grow on me. I collect the modulars so it’ll either be a day-1 purchase for the GWP, or a double points grab at the next event.
Awesome video. I am ordering this January 1st, so I have 3 modulars to do in 2025. Also, a news stand gwp is a nice break from the vehicle gwps from last years.
I love this set. I am not a huge modular fan (because I don't collect city stuff most of the time - except space stuff ), but this set might convert me. It's also usable as a medieval in or something like that with a bit of elbow grease. Also the PRINTS ONLY treatment this set got is what the Medieval Town Square should have gotten as well. Do you have a list or image of all the prints in this set? I am really excited to see them as soon as possible.
This new Modular will probadly get in every ones Top 3. But what a interesting comparison. Now I have a good idea of the dimensions of Tudor Corner. And I like you did. I had search for some translations to 😃👍
Pleasantly surprised after hearing the leaks and rumors over the past couple of months. It looks fantastic, and as a modular collector from the beginning (yep - even have Market Square), I'll even calm my frustration at still not having a School or a Hospital.
Great review, as always. Was wondering about access to the third floor. It being an attic is ok with me for the access though. Will be a day one buy for me, a personal first for any modular as I own three currently.
Hey Alex, your date should show Jan 1st, 2025…you have Dec 1st, 2025. Beyond that! We love seeing Mindy, just showed my wife the video before she left for work, and she says please tell Mindy that she loves her new hairstyle 😁
I told myself not to buy modular buildings because it’s a slippery slope. I almost got Boutique Hotel. But I thought the inside build is a bit repetitive, so I haven’t gotten it. This Tudor Corner one might be my first purchase down the line. Color selections play a huge part in my decision in purchasing. This set has a lot of unique colors. And the Tudor style reminds me of AOT.
Hi alix.😊👋 Hello Mindy 😊 🖐️like how you got cafa corner out. On table. With the new one .cafa cornea persuasion restaurant hotel assembly Square. Are top best moduler s .along with this new one .I would love a new big moduler like. Assembly Square size build is so dam good .but 3 level s in this new one is great .yes the steep s on the side .could of had inclosed with more wall s and a balcony above it fo the r 3 Rd floor .my thorts. To make it have as much parts as cafa corner 😊.
Went to the LEGO store today to buy one for the kids but they don’t have this till January? How the heck did you guys get one? You’re in the States right.. anywho ended up buying some new ship that came out, sales girl told me I’d get a cute little boat as a gift so hoping the kids like it..
You mentioned the outside clock - the clockmaker unfortunately spelled IIII wrong. (On nine out of ten clocks it is spelled IIII rather than IV, something about symmetry and looks!)
Good looking set. But I think it might look out of place in a modern city. It has a old downtown feel. Like it’s historic and the city council won’t allow it to be torn down. And this is a exam at the age old question. Would you rather a nice big building with cosmetic details. Or a smaller building with a very nice hidden interior.
As a British AFOL this is my new favourite modular, everything about the look of this reminds me of home 😍. Always wanted a Lego modular British-style pub but never thought I'd see the day we got it!
In my storytelling the young lady is the clockmakers daughter who has moved out of the family home in the ‘burbs and in to the families old attic apartment above the shop so she can attend college.
It's good to see Mindy in all these videos. I know this is a busy time for everyone, and it's good to see you both spending time together. Also, Mindy positively surprises with her comments and her teaching segments about the tudor style.
This will be the first (and possibly only) modular I will ever buy. 😊
I thought so to but instead...
Not gonna lie. I wanna relate with this one ☝️ my first modular ill ever purchase
That’s how it starts
If one doesn't have one, it's a fair choice. But it won't be the last one
It never stays 1
Thanks Alex and Mindy. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your reviews. It really helps with the decision making process for viewers like me 🙂

Lanyard . how do a lanyard. Help. It's just a thing with design in it to put around neek I got a Lego one.

Definitely hoping to get the kiosk along with it. Tudor corner looks absolutely amazing. And I can't wait to add it to my city.

Alex & Mindy are the best. Thanks for the review. I look forward to building this set.

I'm not a big fan of LEGO reviews as I want the experience for my self, but that modular looks great. Finally a chimney sweeper I see
thankful I got cafe corner when it came out, I still cherish it to this day, soon I will be adding a custom interior.
I’m glade you have this set ! Giving us a chance to review 🎉❤
It has a hat shop!!! That's so great!
happy Christmas Alex I hope you get your Lego City rearranged the way you want it and I hope you and your family have a awesome holidays 🎄😁
Could be that the clock maker and the cat lady are married and they share the apartment above :) Great review Alex
That's true. It could just be a bigger apartment. Thanks!

That's a good question. I'll need to test that out as I get my city together.

Great video, thank you. I love this set. As a sewist the haberdashers’ store is perfect! Can’t wait to get it.
That's awesome. It's always great to find connections with these sets.
Thank you Alex and Mindy. A very pleasant review. Not what I was expecting from the leaks I had heard, but looks excellent. Possibly one that I will be buying on release as the GWP looks great too.
Great, set! I'm already trying to figure out where to put it in the CITY.
Same here!
Really awesome set🤩🤩🤩🤩

I will be purchasing this day 1. I love the old miedevil style of this building and this modular truly captures Legovilles midevil past.

I would have liked seeing this new modular next to the Parisian Restaurant and Jazz Club, because of that staircase and balcony. 😬
Great review! Really enjoyed watching ❤ can’t wait to pick up this set.
Great review, as always. Was wondering about access to the third floor. It being an attic is ok with me for the access though. Will be a day one buy for me, a personal first for any modular as I own three currently.
The connection to living spaces through shops is very common in old buildings in europe.
I thought this was release day only. How did you get to show it built today.

Thanks for letting me know. Got that fixed.
Great review and great looking set. I can’t wait…already have a spot cleared for it.
Thanks, Dennis. I am working on a spot as well. haha!
@@alexnunesYour space clearing was a bit more ambitious than mine. 😉

But how does this compare to the Ghostbuster Firehouse? For the love of Earl we need to know the important details.
Hard to beat the Ghostbusters Firehouse. This new modular is pretty great, but falls short to the greatest LEGO set out there.
Great review. I love it.
if I get one, I'm going to call the clockmaker Monroe (from the Grimm series as he is a clockmaker by trade)
agree, it's really details - so compare to Cafe Corner that you need to build interior on your own - that's completely different story
Banger
The resident upstairs is the clockmakers daughter, he doesn't mind if she walks through his shop ;)
Went to the LEGO store today to buy one for the kids but they don’t have this till January? How the heck did you guys get one?

Teal and yellow? Is that a reference to Rock Raiders?
Ah, what a great theme. Maybe it is.
8:00 Alex - you pronounced Haberdashery correctly the first time.

It would be a nice big building with cosmetic details for me. I guess we'll see how this looks among all the others here soon.
How has your cafe corner not yellowed at all over 17 years? I assume the basement helps.
Yep, a day 1 purchase for me
Never have I once been able to get any of these sets lol
I hope that changes for you soon.
1890s mock tudor east end pub
Cafe Corner wins easily! The beauty is always in simplicity.

Nice try guys but it's not 2025 yet lol still have to wait for new year's eve.And great review guy's.
Hysterical!! @10:48 typical husband...uuu huhh
The lady may be the clockmaker's wife and she and the clockmaker live above the shop.
Maybe the clockmaker is her father?
Yeah like the Clock Makers Daughter!
雖然我還是會收藏,但是我覺得這是最醜的一年
No money for original parts for 10182 ???? Pathetic to make reviews like this ….
The other LAN members have only shown the box? Thanks for insight.
