Weeds can be a real nuisance as they can drag down your curb appeal and steal nutrients for your grass. To help you achieve a weed-free lawn, we offer a weed control service that consists of multiple treatments throughout the year to keep your property free of weeds. What's more, our weed control program also features fertilizer treatments to keep your lawn supplied with the nutrients it will need to thrive. We will apply our weed control and fertilization treatments on the following schedule:
March-April - Our first visit includes a pre-emergent weed control application to prevent new weed growth, followed by a post-emergent treatment to target any existing weeds. We will also apply a granular fertilizer treatment during this visit.
May-June - Once summer arrives, we will apply another round of pre- and post-emergent weed control and a granular fertilizer treatment to give your grass vital nutrients to withstand the summer heat.
July-August - During our third visit, we will apply both weed control and fertilizer treatments, as well as a preventative grub control treatment to ensure these pesky pests do not cause damage to your lawn during the peak season.
August-September - During this time frame, we will visit your property twice. During these visits, we will apply our nutrient-rich fertilizer to supply your lawn with the nutrients it needs to thrive. We will also apply another round of post-emergent weed control to target any weeds on your lawn.
October-November - For our last visit of the year, we will apply our granular fertilizer or "winterizer" to prepare your lawn for the winter months ahead. Post-emergent weed control will also be applied to ensure no weeds are present on your lawn before the winter season.

Similarly, I read about someone taping a sponge to a hockey stick. Then they dipped the sponge in roundup and wanded it across the taller quackgrass to selectively "paint" it

If you want people to believe that your method works then you have to show a before and after.

I just verified online that QuikPro Roundup kills quackgrass. Since applying herbicides to weeds with a paintbrush is a known technique, it will work.

@@ZagoMugen It will kill what is above ground. Especially not in a single application. I’ve tried it. The only true way to actually kill Quackgrass is to do two treatments a week apart with QuickPro and then till up the soil while also applying QuickPro to the soil the entire time you are tilling…which means you need a second person. But that doesn’t mean that you definitely killed it. You’ve just killed it deep enough that you won’t see it for a few years. Quackgrass is a weed you can really only “manage”. Saying you’ve found ways to eradicate it from a turfgrass lawn is really saying “until next year”….which is the definition of “managing it”.
