Here are the order of the crew evacuations. 1. Captain Vul (rage quitted like a wussy because he did not want to risk his own neck in facing Kirby.) 2. Mace Knight, Axe Knight, and Trident Knight (Ambushed Kirby and fought him directly on the ship's bridge before Meta Knight's chamber. They all abandoned ship all at once after Kirby defeated them.) 3. Waddle Dee (Everyone's favorite member of the crew. It is implied he either abandoned ship some time prior to the battle with Meta Knight or a bit afterwards.) 4. Meta Knight (The big cheese and the one in charge as well as the high admiral of the ship even above Captain Vul. He fought Kirby as the last boss of the storyline and lost then tried to impede his escape. Eventually Kirby got away and Meta Knight flew off the ship. He was the last key member of the main Halberd staff to leave as the ship was mere seconds away to crashing into the ocean.)
Falconty123 Think about this: The Halberd was ATTACKED, it was taken down on purpose. It was destroyed by Kirby going in and destroying the reactor. The Titanic was accidentally sunk after it hit an iceberg. It's even more stupid considering the fact that they could have averted sinking if they had just had a head-on collision with the iceberg.

My headcanon was that after Dreamland and Adventure, seeing what happened to the king and his subordinates made Meta Knight come with this decision as to what to do with Dream Land. Then, after Dedede helped in RtDL, he finally accepted him as a worthy protector of the land, along with himself, Kirby and the best Dee around.
The first place I ever saw the Battleship Halberd was in SSBB. It's huge role in The Subspace Emissary immediately made it one of the most iconic gaming set pieces of all time. So imagine my face when I play SS Ultra and they give it it's less chunky, sleek design
The fact that an orchestrated remix of this song won a Grammy both scares and impresses me, since THIS SONG OF ALL KIRBY SONGS! Pretty much paves a way for other pieces of video game music to now be recognized at the Grammys. And I couldn't feel more proud and joyful that VGC music now has a spot. :,) ♡

At this point In life I was already a BIG and experienced Kirby fan so it was neat seeing that after all those excellent original adventures we were going into what was apparently (at least not to my knowledge at the time), a remake for a game I wasnt old enough to be aware of. This game ended up introducing me to a classic I never knew existed and it became me and my brothers favorite game in the series. The Halberd and Meta Knight are still my brothers favorite things about Kirby.

He wasn't! The interesting fact is that meta knight was trying to industrialize and militarize Dreamland and replace its current less useful leader...King DDD. The reason is obvious to why. The galaxy is a dangerous place for popstar I.E. some guy keeps invading popstar or stir trouble. Meta knight believe this was the best to stop the 'laziness' that pop star was under, but was in conflict with Kirby's notion that things were already the best it could be. Conflict between the two heros was unavoidable.
Kirby is also a masochist and loved to beat and eat the shit out of anything and everything at any chance he gets so if there’s a giant metal ship in the sky you can bet your ass Kirby’s gonna blow that fucker right out of the sky
