The music in this game is amazing even to the point that I haven't enjoyed any other Kirby game that much because I wish it has music as good as this game.
Excellent track! One problem though. Why the hell does this 2010 remake sound lower-quality on the 2004 Nintendo DS than it did on the 1991 SNES in the 1996 original?!?!? It boggles my mind that a handheld 13 years later still couldn't get a better sound card.
Nintendo has always been about being budget friendly. I'm pretty sure they could have put a better sound card but it would have driven the ds's price up.

(Even though I'm pretty sure DS games can be up to 2GB, but whatever...) "Hz" is usually used to measure the quality of audio, and the SNES can play audio at up to 32kHz, but that's very unlikely that it will happen because of the size samples need to be to be that quality. (Higher quality on some samples probably won't make a difference either) 44.1kHz has pretty much been standard in devices for a long time now, (like CDs) so I imagine the DS would playback audio at the speed, and I sincerely doubt it would be any slower than 32kHz. I kind of imagine the DS port has the SNES audio recorded and downgraded rather than actually composing the audio from multiple, small samples like the SNES does. (It's kind of like midi vs. a low quality MP3.)

Not a fan of this version. It sounds like it got its background tones somewhat smoothened for some reason. I just find the SNES version better for sounding more adamant, which really fits the mood of this music.
