This medley is inspired in part by the allusions to religion and mythology in Taemin's aesthetics, so the classical piece I quote tangentially connects to that. I worked on trying to figure out what aesthetic would be a good fit for Taemin and eventually decided on black and (off-)white for the Criminal/IDEA duality (and also worked decently for Advice era), and the mix of mesh (on back) and quasi-formal (on front) also felt like it tied in with aesthetics he's done.
