Got my edx pro today and I'm super impressed ,nice comfortable bass not to boomy, highs are mostly great and surprise with the separation ,for the money these are a win win for me ,thanks for the great review it was this that pushed me towards the edx pro🙏✌️👍
@@varshith5610 base is actually really good .. ive also used sony bx55ap but the bass was just too much .. like after 1/2 songs ears couldn't take it anymore.. but these ones although have boomy bass its not too much and its very fun to listen to bollywood songs with these .. although not much detailing like Zsn pro X . But still these are my GoTo IEMs

Did you know there's a new updated QKZ VK4? I received mine yesterday. It sounds very different from my original one. Don't know if some of this is due to normal variance in this model or if they really dramatically changed it. Would be nice if you got your hands on one to see those graphs overlayed! Differences as far as I can tell: C-pin with a slighly nicer, softer cable and improved earhooks. Louder. Bassier and more sibilant (more V-shaped, I guess). Very lively sound that reminds me more of the KZ EDX.
@@Jwlian22 Hard to say from just one unit, lol. I can say mine looks clean and well built, one of the ear tips was defective though. But yeah, the sound is very different, I don't know if this is still the legendary VK4 sound that people love, you know.
I have 2 pairs KS2's. I just ordered the EDX Pro. I like Bass and want'ed to see if the less peaky high of the EDX Pro would work better. I noticed the nozzle is not metal, which may reduce its bass.

Hello Zpolt and everyone! I’m about buy my first IEM but I just cannot make a choice. I usually listen to classical music, also some jazz and folk but mainly instrumental music. Should I get the KZ ZSN PRO X, KZ DQ6 or maybe Moondrop SSP or SSR?
I have 2 of those iems (ZSN & ZSN PRO). They sound _almost_ identical but after upgrading my cable to a thicker braided w/ 24K gold plated 2-pin connectors and an in-line small dac usb-c to female 3.5mm. And WOW what a difference those 2 upgrades made! The KZ ZSN PROs sound AMAZING after the cable & dac adapter upgrades!! For a total of ~ $45 USD, they are STILL working great *4 years later!* This is with _heavy_ daily use. And NO, I'm not getting paid for this 😂😅, I'm just excited bc in my 39yrs, these are the BEST budget earphones I've ever had!!
Yooo, i was waiting for your review :D Glad to see you've got new ones that arrived to review, been patiently waiting for your opinion. Just got them today and i am pleasantly surprised. I really like the cable on these, much less annoying when it gets tangled cause it's smoother and feels nicer overall so using them outdoors would be a much better experience. Good, tight, punchy bass, but not overwhelming and muddy, good vocals and treble, decent soundstage and separation. I was hesitating between these, the EDX and EDC and also the MT1 as a gift for friends but was scared that the MT1 and especially the EDX would be too bright so i think the EDX Pro was a very good choice overall. It's lively, it's exciting but not too bright or bassy, it's just where i wanted it to be :) Very surprised to see that they're close to the TFZ Live 3. Compared to my ZST X i can definitely say this is a more aggressive option, more boomy / brighter but i still love my BLON BL-03 for a warm, cozy, relaxing but still super exciting and great listen. My only complaint with the BL-03 is that the nozzle is so small, even with the longer eartip included in the purple BL-03 they can sometimes plop out of my ear. I think the EDX Pro would be a very safe choice and easy recommendation for newcomers cause it's overall just a fun and nice IEM for under 10$. Hopefully the MT1 arrive soon so i can compare as well but overall very happy with the EDX Pro. Awesome review as usual zpolt, glad you like them as well ! Waiting for even more reviews :D

Does the sound change as you keep using them? I just got them and I like the bass and decent soundstage. What I don't like is the treble. It sounds very rough. The brightness isn't what bothers me. It's the unevenness in the treble. It sound like there's loads of peaks and dips in the treble which makes it sound rough/clinical. It almost sounds like when you turn a "surround sound" effect on and it ruins the sound. My Samsung earphones sound much smoother in the highs even though they don't have the detail of the KZ's. Using an eq can't even fix it because of how uneven it is. Do the other KZ's also sound like this? Is there another cheap IEM which has the same bass but a smoother more natural treble? Will changing the tip help? I'll try to get used to them but I've never heard a headphone which sounds like this.
Hey, I have one question regarding KZs if you can help, Are highs on this iem too harsh? I saw some reviews saying highs are harsh on this which can give you ear fatigue.

I have an ultimate mic comparison. You can check there but kz mics are top 5, they nice. For your purpose, im going edx pro only because they changed the vk4 tuning already. Or consider the new cca cra.

sidegrade of edx to me. apparently current edx is slightly better to my ears than initial batch. both are good in their own way for me😊
according to crinacle's recent tier list all KZ are the same. Once you have one you have them all.

Blon03 overall especially if you are a music lover. I used bl03 for music and I only use edx pro for gaming and movies because of the bass.
