@@TimHolman in my opinion the other youtubers don't transcribe Alex Skolnick's solos because they are too difficult, only Tim Holman is good enough to be able to transcribe them correctly ;)
@@TimHolman I'd add Trial By Fire, The New Order and Into The Pit to the suggestions! Metallica lessons on RUclips are a dime a dozen, but Testament lessons are pretty difficult to find hahahah!
Hi Tim, your channel is the super gift that just keeps on giving. Taking what I've learnt from you I've been working on Dyers Eve. Unfortunately there's nothing but conflicting lessons on almost every section. So could please consider a lesson on Dyers Eve in the near future? Only then will I truly know how to play it. Thanks for being such an inspirational teacher/player.
I'm working on Blackened. I've had too many requests for it to ignore. Puppets might be after that but I've had a ton of requests for Damage and Disposable Heroes too. More Testament is coming but I'm not sure when. It really comes down to views. These videos take a ton of time and I need to make sure they're going to get watched. So far the more popular the song, the more views. I'll have more ability to do lesser known songs by Testament, Exodus, Anthrax etc when my channel has grown. As far as Testament goes though Practice what You Preach is a great choice.
Don't get me wrong! I love and respect your work but if you're getting distracted by playing whatever song you feel like it's awesome you'll never ever...not in a million years fullfil your promise to do every Metallica song. That's how I see it. Or you could go back to those first songs and edit out what you've said. But like I said...love your work. Keep it up but focus
Totally get you man! The Metallica thing is a long term project. It's not going to be done in a few months or even a couple of years. While I research the songs I have to get material out. I have loads of requests coming in and there is no way to please everyone all of the time. Sorry if you're looking forward to my Metallica videos and then I put something else out. I'm trying my best to build a great channel. 🍻

@@lucianolima4224 Totally understand Luciano! I really think that I'll be able to speed up with their newer stuff. Their earlier stuff is slow going with tons of parts and transcribing. Once they hit the Black Album and Load it's much more mainstream and shouldn't take as long. Less epic solos and progressive song structures. I might start skipping around a bit so I can get songs out faster. Any song suggestions that you would really like to see?
